For thousands of years, many descendants have sighed for Ji Kang's death, sighing at his elegance, his wind mark, and his wind bone. His poetry is pure and outstanding; his piano music is otherworldly, sound and heaven and earth; his calligraphy is illuminating and imposing; his Danqing is ingenious and wonderful.
Sincerely admire such a unique person. Seventeen hundred years later, reading his poems, "magnificent and beautiful, without a little dust and tackiness", just as Bai Juyi sighed: "After a thousand years, I will be full of clothes." Recalling its majesty of "solemnity like a pine wind" cannot but make people look up to it.
Ji Kang walked frankly and calmly, and there seemed to be no worries behind him. In fact, he still had a pair of children at that time, and they were all still young. Before his death, Ji Kang had made arrangements, and he said to his son Ji Shao, who was only ten years old: "Juyuan is here, and Ru is not alone. "It means that as long as the mountain is still there, you will not be alone."
The allusion of "Ji Shao is not alone" is very puzzling, is the mountain Tao Mountain Giant Source? Is it the mountain giant source who was extremely embarrassed by Ji Kang's writing of a letter of renunciation?
Of course, the orphan is looking for the person he trusts the most, he once wrote such a ruthless letter of renunciation, it should be like an enemy, how can he entrust the orphan to the other party? Besides, Ji Kang also has an older brother Ji Xi, who is also a talented man, and the official is not small, so why not give it to him? Among the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest, the most angry with Ji Kang should be Ruan Yuan, who mixed well in Sima Shi's group, why not him?

Maybe this is not the root cause, after all, it is a blood relative, Ji Kang and his brother are not bad feelings, there have been many poems gifted. However, it can be seen from the poem that Ji Kang did not agree with his brother's political position, and the Sima family acted obediently, and he was worried that his brother was keen on fame and fortune and became a Sima Eagle Dog, and he might not be able to protect himself. "The bird hides with its best bow, and it will be in danger." Although the ji is in himself, Shilu Duokun (xiǎn xī, sinister). Ji Kang had advised him in this way, but his brother did not think so.
The second time I say Ruan Yuan, if I want to say that the person who has the most tacit understanding with Ji Kang in thought and behavior, of course, is ruan Yuan. The same talent, the same cynicism, but ruan ji is stronger than Ji Kang, he knows the art of self-preservation, in addition to drunken mixing, he "does not care about people", this point, Sima Zhao also learned, talk to him for half a day, the more he talks the more mysterious, once it comes to judging the current characters, he is like taking dumb medicine, never open his mouth. Of course, Ji Kang also knew Ruan Yuan, so he also wrote in the "Book of Renunciation with Shan Juyuan" - "Ruan Si Zongkou does not care about people, I have not been able to reach every teacher." "It's the difference between him and Nguyen.
Maybe he knows Nguyen too well, so it is still inappropriate to give the child to a person who "hopes to be drunk for a long time and never wake up". Moreover, he wrote in the "Family Commandment": "When you see drunkenness, you will stop, and you should be cautious until you are sleepy and drunk, and you cannot cut yourself." Although Ji Kang also drank, he did not approve of the drunken and dreamy drinking method like Ruan Zhi. Besides, Ji Kang saw Ruan's bones, that arrogance could not be suppressed after all, the Sima family turned over their hands for the clouds to cover their hands for the rain, and it was difficult to say what the road behind Ruan Zhi had become. Ji Kang was indeed expected of this, and after Ruan Was forced to write the "Persuasion Table", he died of depression in a month or two, in 263 AD, in the winter of the same year when Ji Kang was killed.

To say that this is a letter is rather a piece of writing, sprinkled with more than 1,800 words, saying that he has "seven unbearable" and "two indispensable", and it is not at all the material for becoming an official. He also said that "every time it is not Tang, Wu but Bo Zhou, kong, in the human world, this matter will be obvious, the world religion will not tolerate..." Ji Kang satirized Cheng Tang, King Wu of Zhou was not in the right place, in fact, he scolded the hypocritical etiquette advocated by the Sima clique. He denounced Shantao for recommending himself to be an official, not worthy of being his friend, and also scolded Shantao and those who were officials for "having been addicted to stink and rot, raising ostriches to die rats", you are owls that eat the meat of dead mice, but I am a phoenix! The words are spicy and mean, and the meaning of renunciation is vividly expressed.
It was originally a good intention, but it was struck by lightning! Ji Kang, you are really scolding, have you ever thought that with your literary style, this letter will be passed on to all directions and even passed on to future generations, how embarrassing is Shantao as a big brother? How aggrieved is there?
Shantao, who had only entered his career at the age of forty, had unusually keen political insight, and when he was engaged in Henan, he captured the breath of Sima Yi, who was about to launch a coup d'état by Cao Shuang, and directly left his post, avoiding a political storm in time. This time, the eldest brother ShanTao also had a premonition that Sima Shi might do something to Ji Kang. Therefore, when the term of office of the official Shangshu Lang (equivalent to Shangshu Assistant, who did not reach the vice-ministerial level) was about to expire, Shantao deliberately recommended Ji Kang to the imperial court to replace him, he wanted to find a talisman for Ji Kang, but where could he think that he would be scolded to the point of spewing dog blood, and the smiling face he sent to the door was snapped and swollen by others?
Changing people, such as Zhong Hui and the like, must have formed a mortal vendetta and not shared the sky, but Shantao was not.
This is a man with a broad mind as the sea, and his instrument is far from what we ordinary people can speculate.
Personally, I think that this letter of renunciation is not a true reflection of the friendship between the two people at all. Through such a resolute letter, Ji Kang not only showed that he would not hesitate to die to complete the festival of the full name of the shi and resolutely not cooperate with Sima Shi, but also pushed himself to the opposite side of Shantao and completely broke up. In this way, he could give the mountain Tao who recommended himself to break the siege, so that he had room to explain in front of Sima Shi and not be suspected. Therefore, what looks like a break letter is actually a farewell book between confidants.
As for Shantao's reaction, Ji Kang believed that he could understand his intentions, and also believed that he had enough instruments to tolerate his "big words".
Ji Kang chose Shantao, not only because he was a man of great character and was capable and sharp in government, but also knew his relationship with the Sima family, and Sima Yi's wife Zhang Chunhua was Shantao's cousin, so he and Sima Zhao were of the same generation. According to the Book of Jin, during Sima Shi's control of The Cao Wei regime, both Sima Zhao and Sima Yan gave Shantao great trust. The most rare thing is that Shan Tao once bluntly advised and had the merit of supporting Sima Yan.
Sima Zhao once wanted to make Sima You, the son of Sima Shi, the son of Sima Shi, the son of the emperor, ask Shantao about this matter, and Shantao replied: "It is ominous to abolish the long and the long and the little, and it is ominous to violate the etiquette." The security of the country will always be determined. As a result, the position of the crown prince was stabilized, and Sima Yan personally came to the door to thank him.
Shantao is a low-key person, never sells his reputation, and can be honest and self-disciplined, so he can navigate the sinister political whirlpool. Ji Kang knew that such a mountain was the most trustworthy.
Ji Kang certainly did not look at the wrong person. After his death, Shantao, who was humiliated and humiliated, did not live up to Ji Kang's heavy trust, not only raising Ji Shao to adulthood, but also cultivating him into an outstanding talent.
Eighteen years after Ji Kang's death, Ji Shao, under the strong recommendation of Shantao, entered the imperial court as an official, and successively served as a waiter at the Yellow Gate and a regular attendant on the scattered horse until he was appointed as a waiter. During the "Rebellion of the Eight Kings", Emperor Hui of Jin was coerced and displaced, ji Shao never abandoned, and finally paid the price of his life to protect Emperor Hui, becoming a highly respected model of loyal subjects in later generations, and the national hero Wen Tianxiang praised in the "Song of Righteous Qi" that he said was exactly what he said.
On talent, I admire Ji Kang; when it comes to righteousness, I admire Shantao even more.
