Today, the Anti-Organized Crime Office of the Ministry of Public Security sent a telegram of condolences to mourn Wang Yan, a police officer of the Chifeng City Public Security Bureau in Inner Mongolia.
After graduating from the Criminal Investigation Department of the China Criminal Police College in 2014, Wang Yan worked in the Criminal Investigation Detachment of the Chifeng Municipal Public Security Bureau, and in 2018, he was transferred to the Municipal Public Security Bureau's Anti-Mafia And Anti-Evil Professional Team.
On December 30 and 31, 2018, Wang Yan suddenly suffered from heart disease after working overtime for two consecutive days, and died at the age of 28 after ineffective rescue in the hospital.
The condolence telegram mentioned that Comrade Wang Yan is an outstanding representative of the Chinese criminal police and an excellent model for the anti-gang crime and evil forces of public security organs throughout the country. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Public Security Department's Anti-Organized Crime Office and the Chifeng City Public Security Bureau's Anti-Organized Crime Office are invited to jointly do a good job in Comrade Wang Yan's aftermath and pension preferential treatment, and help him solve his family's practical difficulties.
Previously, on September 11, 2018, Lin Jincheng, a police officer of the Jiexi County Public Security Bureau in Jieyang City, died in the line of duty, according to the Jieyang News Network, since the launch of the special struggle against organized crime and evil in early 2018, Lin Jincheng has fought in the front line of cracking down on criminal syndicates and evil crimes, and has handled 23 cases involving criminal syndicates and evil forces. On the evening of September 3, in order to handle a kidnapping case, Lin Jincheng worked overtime in the unit until 4 a.m. on the 4th. The next morning, he insisted on continuing to work. At about 10:30 a.m. on the 4th, Lin Jincheng suddenly suffered a myocardial infarction and was urgently sent to the hospital for treatment. At 00:20 a.m. on September 11, Lin Jincheng died of extremely critical illness and ineffective rescue.
On September 15, 2018, Zhang Fuchen, a police officer at the Puyang Municipal Public Security Bureau, was found dead in his office at the age of 42. According to reports, the day before the sacrifice (September 14), as the leader of the technical investigation detachment of the Puyang City Public Security Bureau on the same day, Comrade Zhang Fuchen worked overtime for the special struggle against organized crime and evil forces.
