Finally, n-3 long-chain PUFA-rich feed significantly delayed tumor growth in mice compared with monounsaturated fatty acid-rich feeds, and the role of DGATi or ferroptosis inducers was further enhanced.

These data point to dietary polyunsaturated fatty acids as a selective adjuvant anti-tumor modality.
