On October 16, Nandu reporters learned from the Public Security Bureau of Sixing County, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, that a homeless man was recently found in Sixing County, and later verified by the police that he was a fugitive from the murder case.

It is understood that on October 10, the police of the Shensuo Police Station in Sixing County carried out special operation work, and according to the situation reflected by the village cadres in the jurisdiction, a homeless person was found under the high-speed bridge in Huangsuo Village, Shensuo Town.
Subsequently, the civilian police communicated with him, but to no avail, and he did not have any relevant documents on his body. The police immediately coordinated the 120 and epidemic prevention personnel to inspect it. After examination, the homeless person was in normal health, no major problems, and the nucleic acid test result was negative. In addition, the police also collected blood samples of the homeless person and sent them to the DNA for testing.
Unable to verify his identity and being a vagrant, the man was temporarily placed at the Rescue and Resettlement Center for Vagrant Beggars in Sixing County.
On October 14, with the joint efforts of the police in Shaoguan Sixing and Qingyuan and the relevant public welfare organizations in Sixing, the police finally found out the true identity of the homeless person. It was confirmed that the homeless person, Hu Mou, belonged to the fugitive from criminal detention.
After interrogation, Hu confessed to the crime of intentionally injuring others in Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, in June 2003.
At present, the Sixing County Public Security Bureau has transferred the criminal suspect to the Haizhu Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau for further handling in accordance with the law.
