After all, that era was not like now, there were heavenly eyes everywhere, and it was not easy to find someone. But the Beijing police never gave up on the pursuit of the Ning brothers. With the persistence and efforts of the police, it finally took 14 years, and on October 21, 2017, the police found the traces of the Ning family brothers. If the circumstances are serious, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years or life imprisonment, causing death, and shall be sentenced to life imprisonment or death.
On July 13, 2018, the Third Branch of the Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate indicted Ning Hongliang and Ning Hongbin on suspicion of kidnapping and robbery. Younger brother Ning Hongbin, 36, is the first defendant in the case; older brother Ning Hongliang, 38, is the second defendant, and in the face of allegations of kidnapping and robbery by the public prosecution, Ning Hongbin denied all the allegations and insisted that he had never participated. Ning Hongliang argued that he was asked by his brother to help pay the bills, not robbery, and he was only responsible for driving, and he did not know anything else.
The public prosecution organ believes that the evidence in the case is sufficient to prove that Ning Hongbin and Ning Hongliang kidnapped others for the purpose of extorting property and robbed others of their property by violent means.
