The basic technique of acupuncture refers to the basic operations used after the needle is inserted to obtain the feeling of the needle and to replenish diarrhea. Auxiliary technique refers to the operation of the needle after the needle is injected to promote its qi, and to enhance the needle feeling, spread, or make up for diarrhea, while applying the basic needle prick technique, and cooperate with the administration.

1. Enter (insert)

The so-called in, is the needle through the skin, according to the depth of the pierced part of the three parts of the heaven, person, the earth, from the shallow layer to the deep downward insertion process, that is, from the sky into the human or ground needle action. The "Lingshu Guan Needle" contains: The word "push" in "slightly swirling and pushing" means "to enter". The purpose is to gain qi (to get a needle sensation), or to perform diarrhea. According to the speed of the needle, there is a distinction between rapid and slow forward.

2. Return (mention)

The so-called retreat is the operation process of lifting the needle from the deep to the shallow layer and retreating upwards, that is, the withdrawal of the needle from the earth to the human part, the heavenly part, or the human part to the heavenly part. The "Lingshu Guan Needle" contains: The word "stretch" in "stretch and return", that is, the meaning of "retreat". The purpose is to dissipate breath (to weaken the sense of needles), or to perform diarrhea. According to the speed of needle withdrawal, there are also points of rapid delay and slow retreat.

3. Twist (turn, spin)

Twisting is to pierce the needle into a certain depth, with thumb, index finger, one before and one after the alternating action, that is, thumb, food two points inward, external twisting operation process. According to the "Lingshu Guan Needle": "cut and turn", the words "turn" and "spin" in "micro-spin and Xu Push" refer to "twist". It can be used to induce gas, to breathe or to perform diarrhea. Twisting can be twisted back and forth at a given depth, but the maximum angle should not exceed 360 degrees (one turn), otherwise it will cause pain. The speed of twisting can be determined according to the condition.

4. Stay

Retention is the practice of leaving the needle in the hole. According to the "Su Qing Clutch True Evil Theory", "staying still for a long time" means that when the needle is left, it is necessary to quietly leave some more time, and this method of staying still to wait for the qi to arrive is called "staying needle". If in the process of retaining needles, due to the needs of the disease, it is necessary to continue to administer the technique, that is, the method of not standing still to wait for the qi to arrive, or to achieve a certain purpose of replenishing diarrhea, it is called "moving the needle". Whether the needle is left or not, what kind of needle retention method is used, and the length of time the needle is left, mainly depends on the condition.

5. Out

The needle method refers to the operation process of pulling out the needle after the needle has been completed, that is, the left thumb, index finger, or middle and index fingers are used to fix the skin around the acupuncture point, and the needle in the right hand is gently twisted back to the skin, and then quickly pulled out, or the needle is gently and directly pulled out. Acupuncture Dacheng : "The Finger Puller, ." "Clearly pointed out the timing and essentials of the needle. The speed of the needle must be combined with the needs of the condition and laxative techniques. If there is occasional bleeding from the needle hole after the needle is removed, it is caused by puncturing the blood vessel, and it can be gently pressed on the needle hole with a disinfectant dry cotton ball.

1. Follow (photo)

After acupuncture, if there is no needle feeling, massage the meridians up and down with your hands. The method is mostly used for the false evidence of insufficient qi and slow qi, and it is a method of urging qi to gently follow the flow of the meridians with the fingers. The Acupuncture Dacheng says: "If the needle does not reach the qi, use his finger to follow the meridian path of the part to which he belongs, so that the qi and blood flow evenly, up and down, and the natural qi under the needle is tight." "It shows that this method can promote qi and blood, stimulate menstrual qi, and is a complementary method." The law of regent is mostly used for evil qi, and it is a kind of laxative method to use the evidence of astringent qi to press the meridians up and down with the big finger claw armor and force the evil qi to dissipate. Therefore, "Acupuncture Dacheng" says:

2. Bullets

After acupuncture, in the process of retaining the needle, flick the needle handle with your finger to make the needle body vibrate slightly to strengthen the induction of qi. The Acupuncture Question says: "If the qi does not work, gently flick the needle to make the qi travel at a fast speed." "Acupuncture Dacheng" said: "Bullet and nudge, this is the first bullet needle, wait for the breath to arrive." It is pointed out that this method can stimulate the needle sensation and is used in patients with sluggishness.

3. Scrape

After the needle is pierced to a certain depth, the needle handle is scraped with the nail, which is a method of urging and practicing qi. For example, the thumb of the right hand is used to press the tip of the needle handle, and at the same time the index finger or middle finger nail is scraped upward from the lower end of the needle handle, called "one-handed scraping needle method", such as pressing the tip of the needle handle with the thumb or index finger of the left hand, the nail of the right thumb or index finger or scraping the needle handle from top to bottom, or from bottom to top, called "two-handed scraping needle method"; and also with the left thumb, the index finger clip to support the lower end of the needle body, the right thumb and index finger nail as the end of the spiral, scraping the needle handle from the bottom up, called "spin scraping". The application of the scraping method can strengthen the diffusion of the needle feeling.

4. Shake

After the needle is pierced, the handle of the needle can be shaken by the hand holding the needle, so the "Acupuncture Question" says: "Shake to walk the qi" . If you shake the needle handle when the needle is out, you can enlarge the needle hole and use it for laxative methods, so the Acupuncture Dacheng says: "Needle shakers, when the needle is out, when the three parts want to diarrhea, each one shakes once... As if the head of a person is shaken, the hole is opened wide. "If the needle body is upright and shaken, the air induction can be enhanced; if the needle body is shaken upside down, the needle feeling can be transmitted in a certain direction."

5. Fly

After the needle reach a certain depth, twist first, and then let go, thumb, food two fingers open, such as a bird flying wings, a twist and a release, repeated several times, can enhance the sense of needle, as a strong method of gas, gas. That is, as stated in the "Introduction to Medicine": "Twist the needle with a large finger and rub it three times in a row, like a hand trembling, which is called flying."

6. Pounding (shocking face)

After the needle has reached a certain depth, the right hand holds the needle handle and makes a large continuous insertion action, which is called "pounding". This method requires that the direction and depth distance of the needle puncture be the same, and the finger force should be equal. If it is made of small amplitude, faster lifting, like a vibrator, it is called "tremor method". The above method can enhance the needle feeling.

The millineele needle method takes insertion and twisting as the basic operation method, and the corresponding auxiliary method is selected according to the evidence. The scraping method and the elastic method can be applied to the acupuncture points that are not suitable for large-angle twisting; the flying method can be applied to the acupuncture points of some muscle-rich parts; the shaking method and tremor method can be used for the superficial acupuncture points of the parts. Through the use of various needle techniques, the induction of acupuncture is promoted to or strengthened after the needle, so as to play a role in dredging the meridians, reconciling qi and blood, and preventing and treating diseases.
