Xin'an Evening News Anhui Network Dawan News "Yanshan Qingfrost - Mr. Yang Shilin Calligraphy and Painting Works Exhibition" held an opening ceremony in the Anhui Provincial Book Court Exhibition Hall on the morning of the 28th, and the exhibition time was 3 days. The exhibition is sponsored by the Anhui Provincial Book Court and co-organized by the Bengbu Calligraphy and Painting Institute.
Yang Shilin was born in 1947, a resident of Huaisha, a contemporary calligrapher and painter, an art theorist, collector, cultural scholar, a special researcher of the Center for Chinese Studies of Fudan University in Shanghai, a member of the Art Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Culture, a national first-class artist, and once served as the president of the Bengbu Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a director of the Anhui Provincial Book Association, and the vice president of the Anhui Calligraphy Theory Research Association. His calligraphy works are "thin and hard", "simple" and "quiet", and his works have been exhibited in Canada, Japan, South Korea and other places, and have held solo exhibitions in Hefei, Zhuhai and other places.
