F1 unveiled its 2022 season calendar, which contains a record 23 Grand Prix, which has been submitted to and approved by the World Council of Motor Sport.
The opening match of the new season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, begins on 18 March, with the final finale, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, ending on 20 November.
The ongoing pandemic around the world means that the F1 Chinese Grand Prix will not appear in the calendar of the 2022 season, but F1 can't wait to return to China for racing and look forward to reuniting with fans as soon as possible. Once conditions permit, the F1 Chinese Grand Prix will return to the calendar as soon as possible.
F1 said in a statement: "Before the 2022 season, F1 experienced an unprecedented two years. In the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a revision of the calendar for 17 games in the 2020 season and 22 games in the 2021 season. Considering the international nature of the sport, this is a huge achievement. ”
