In August this year, the Yangtze River International Convention Center project passed the "2019 Edition of the New Green Standard Pre-evaluation Certification of Three-Star Green Public Buildings", which is also the first project in Jiangsu Province to pass this certification, and was approved as the "2021 Jiangsu Province High Quality Green Building Practice Project".
In the construction, the project combines the location conditions and climatic characteristics, in accordance with the five performance requirements of green building safety and durability, health and comfort, living convenience, resource conservation and livability, adopts world standard design and construction, and runs through the green building concepts such as green, low carbon, wisdom and health. At the same time, the project selected various advanced "green building" technologies, which achieved a reduction in building carbon emissions by as much as 54.8% compared to similar buildings.

The multi-purpose area and the conference and banquet area are both large-span space truss structures - among them, the multi-purpose area has a single truss length of 130 meters, a span of 72 meters, a single hammer weight of 390 tons, and a tall space of 9,000 square meters without a single column, equivalent to 1.26 times the area of a standard football field.
The 33-storey hotel area adopts the structural system of "steel frame + steel support", and the plane aspect ratio and aspect ratio are close to the limit, and its complex structure is one of the few in China.

The 33-storey tower of the Conference Centre Hotel is a wind-sensitive building with a height of 157m and a structural aspect ratio of 9:6 and an aspect ratio of 6:6.
Such a "thin" tower, how to deal with the wind? Xiaobei learned that the hotel uses two sets of "fixed building artifacts", namely the hotel's wind vibration control system - two sets of active and passive hybrid quality dampers (ATMD), one for the lobby damper, the other for the water tank type damper, to reduce the shaking caused by the wind, improve safety and comfort.
Each damper, which weighs about 175 tons, reduces the response to acceleration in strong winds and uses left-right oscillations to reduce the amplitude of building shaking. This is also the first project in Jiangsu Province to apply ATMD technology.
