The recent Wuhan Baishazhou market incident has made a lot of noise on the Internet, and the term "corn coin" has swept the Internet. As a former truck driver, the author has six years of experience in driving trucks in Jiangxi Province and Fujian Province, and the author still has a say in this matter. Today, combined with my personal experience, I will talk about the "rules" of the freight industry.
Truck drivers go north and south, because most of the delivery and pick-up locations are far from home, so they are destined to become a vulnerable group. The fines of the three divisions of traffic, transportation and road will not be said, after all, it is a division gate, we can't afford to offend, let's first talk about how weak the freight driver is.

This is the road transport permit I applied for in the past, I still have a professional qualification certificate, and now I can't find it.
As a vulnerable group in the freight industry, drivers, receivers and porters are stronger than drivers. When I deliver the goods out, the receiving party is responsible for asking the porter to unload the goods. I often encounter cases where porters ask for "drink money", and I have to obediently pay for them in order to unload the goods as soon as possible. When I go out to load goods, I often encounter cases where porters ask for "drink money", and I can only obediently pay for it.
If I don't give the porters "drink money," they'll unload other people's goods first, and I'll have to spend more time pressing the truck. If I don't give the porters "drink money," the goods will be out of stock when they load the trucks. Obviously, 10 tons of carriages can be loaded, and 8 tons will be piled up for you. Even porters can bully truck drivers, how weak truck drivers are, everyone will experience it for themselves.
The rule of the freight industry is that after unloading the goods, after counting the goods without lack of damage, the driver will collect the freight and leave. If you are late because of the driver, the shipper or the receiving party will deduct the driver's freight. If the unloading time is delayed due to the reason of the receiving party, the cargo owner or the receiving party will have to pay the driver the pressure fee.
When the cargo owner is looking for a freight driver, he often only says that he will deduct the freight when he is late, not to mention that he will have to pay the pressure fee for delaying the unloading. Experienced drivers will take the initiative to ask for the pressure fare, and the two sides will negotiate the deal. Drivers who have just entered the industry are inexperienced and do not know about the pressure fare. Since the driver did not mention the pressure fare, the cargo owner deliberately did not say the pressure fare in order to reduce the freight rate.
When the novice driver arrives at the unloading place and presses the car because of the recipient's reason, he will ask for the pressure fee. The receiving party will refuse to pay the pressure fee on the grounds of "industry rules", and the driver will also argue with the rules of the freight. Since there is no agreement on the pressure fare in advance, there will be a situation of ridicule.
Since most of the drivers are foreigners, most of the recipients are locals, even if they are not locals, they are also merchants who have been operating in the local area for many years. There is a way is "strong dragon does not suppress the head snake", even the porter can bully the driver is not a strong dragon, but the receiving party is a real head snake, so the loss must be a weak driver.
As a native of Ji'an, Jiangxi, when I transported goods to Nanchang, I suffered losses in this regard. I was too bad at the time to work as a network writer because I was too bad at doing freight. My driver friends, transporting goods to Fujian has also suffered losses in this regard. The Wuhan Baishazhou incident is a typical ground snake in the name of false "rules" and a rip-off incident caused by bullying drivers.
As is customary, weak drivers are people under the roof and have to bow their heads. This novice driver is not as good as we are, but this novice driver knows how to use the power of new media to protect his legitimate rights and interests and fight against the "rules" of bullying drivers, which has caused an uproar.
Public opinion has made Wuhan very passive, and the "corn coin" has seriously affected the image of Wuhan's city. To be sure, the White Sands Incident is indeed a snake bullying novice drivers, but it shouldn't rise to the level of a negative evaluation of a city. This kind of thing used to be endless, and now it is not uncommon. This kind of thing, not only in Wuhan, but also in Jiangxi and Fujian, but it has not been exposed.
As a former freight driver, the author suggests that the relevant state departments take the Wuhan Baishazhou incident as an opportunity to introduce laws and regulations to regulate the issue of pressure fares. The state should formulate the standard of the pressure fee in light of the actual situation. Only at the national level can we solve the problem of ridicule caused by the pressure fare.
