The white-tailed blue-spot plover (scientific name: Cinclidium leucurum), a small bird, has a body length of 15-18 cm. The male is blue-black throughout, with a forehead, eyebrow lines and shoulders glowing cobalt blue, and white spots are faintly visible on both sides of the lower neck, except for a pair of tail feathers in the center and a pair of tail feathers on the outside, the rest of the tail feathers are white at the base, forming a white spot on the left and right of the black tail, which is extremely eye-catching. The female is olive yellowish brown throughout, with a darker upper body, black brown wings with pale brown feathers, yellow skin around the eyes, pale grayish white in the middle of the abdomen, and white spots on the tail.
