Pan Yueming voiced the second season of "Serengeti"

In 2019, BBC Earth launched a 6-episode documentary "Serengeti", which opened up a fascination for many friends to Africa and the wildlife world. This documentary won a high score of 9.4 on Douban. After two years, this divine work has returned again. The second season of "Serengeti" landed on Youku on July 29. The documentary follows the original team of the first season, with John Downer, the gold medal producer of the wildlife film who shot "The Wild Spy", as the director, and the Oscar-winning actress Lupita Niyongo, who has starred in films such as "Black Panther" and "Star Wars", as the English commentary.

On August 12, Youku Humanities officially announced that actor Pan Yueming will serve as the recommended officer and special voice actor of this documentary, and enjoy the wonderful story of wild animals with the audience. The version voiced by him will also be available on World Elephant Day on the same day.

Serengeti 2 still focuses on the off-the-beaten-track plains of Tanzania. Covering an area of more than 30,000 square kilometers, the savannah, which has been filmed in the film version of The Lion King, is one of the most pristine and unspoiled grasslands in Africa and is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. It's a paradise for wildlife, with up to 70 species of large mammals and 500 endemic birds, as well as one of the world's top ten natural tourist wonders– the semi-annual migration of large animals. But this magical land is full of dangers, and survival has never been so difficult. In "The Lion King", different species can live in harmony, but in the real Serengeti grassland, peace is rare, in order to survive and family, in this land every moment is playing out the love and hate between various species.
