Mary is different, a short length can not completely change a naughty little girl into a rational witch, until the end of the plot Mary is still a naughty little girl, may have a little improvement in cognition, but that can not be called growth.
In fact, everyone who has seen it should understand that this work is indeed a very good storytelling film, it has very beautiful music and painting, and a good story. But painting and music are both legacy elements of Miyazaki, and if you take these out, can it still be called a good movie?
