From October 14 to 15, Tang Dongsheng, vice chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, led a team to Meizhou to carry out the research on the key topic of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang in 2021, "High-quality Construction of Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Promoting the Integration and Development of Free Trade Services and Advanced Manufacturing". Yu Qibao, member of the Standing Committee of the Meizhou Municipal CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, Wood Feng, chairman of the Meizhou Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee, and Li Ruijin, member of the Standing Committee of the Meixian District CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, accompanied the investigation.
During the investigation, the research team held two forums with relevant comrades of Meizhou Bureau of Commerce, Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Customs, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Management Committee and other departments. The basic situation of the comprehensive bonded area, the experience of the development and construction process of the comprehensive bonded area, the difficulties, problems and related suggestions encountered in the process of promoting the development and construction of the comprehensive bonded area were introduced, and the ideas and specific strategies for the future development of the comprehensive bonded area were discussed.
The research team also went to Meizhou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone for field research to learn more about the development positioning, main business, functional layout, comparative advantages, and operation mode of the free trade zone.
Li Xiang, a third-level researcher of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, Li Lei, director of the office of the Foshan Municipal Committee, Huang Guojun and Liao Guangwen, members of the Social Service Committee of the Provincial Committee, and Lin Weicheng and Liu Xinxin, members of the Kuomintang Revolutionary Party, participated in the investigation.
