My giant panda story | Essay "Panda is also warm" (Yu Ziqian)

During the holidays, my parents took me to the Hongshan Forest Zoo in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, to see the giant pandas.

There are no tourists in the panda house in the early morning, the air is fresh, and the birds are singing. The staff had quietly placed the tender and delicious bamboo shoots in all corners where the giant panda might move, and I saw in the distance that a giant panda had found a bamboo shoot and was sitting lazily on the ground nibbling. It peeled the bamboo shoots very quickly, and the skins of the bamboo shoots were scattered on the ground. Bamboo shoots bite crunchy, the giant panda eats happily, and even the air is filled with the fragrance of bamboo shoots. When it arose, it leaned directly on the stake on all fours, like a little baby, making this winter morning a little more mischievous warmth, and my parents and I were about to melt by it!

I came to the habitat of another giant panda and saw a giant panda standing like a human. It turned out that it was climbing the rope and wanted to take down the bamboo shoots on the rope. The swaying rope was like a canoe bridge, and the giant panda climbed carefully, stopped, and continued to move forward, finally getting the delicious bamboo shoots, and then directly nibbling on it. What a foodie!

I counted, and there were four giant pandas in the panda house. They are all about the same size, and they look like hairy balls. Lo and behold, the two eye circles of this giant panda were black, as if they had not slept well; the ears were round, like two small briquettes; the limbs were all black, thick and strong, and very flexible; the black shoulder blades and limbs were connected into a black ring, forming a clear dividing line between the white body and the head. Look at the giant panda, pacing the pace of the inner eight characters, continuing to "treasure hunt" endlessly! My mother told me that giant pandas also like to eat fruits and nest heads, and they are not only vegetarian, some pandas also eat bamboo rats!

Giant pandas have lived on Earth for at least 8 million years and are known as "living fossils" and "national treasures". Every day, they spend half of their time eating, and spend the remaining half of their time in their sleep. This is also the "wisdom" of giant panda survival!

Although the giant panda looks cute, it is actually very fierce. They like to be alone, and if one giant panda invades the territory of other giant pandas, they will fight. Newborn pandas are like hairless mice, with a smooth body and poor survival ability. Due to the destruction of their habitat by humans, giant pandas have become endangered and rare animals. Fortunately, people have realized this problem and have begun to protect giant pandas. Today, as an umbrella species, giant pandas are guiding people to better protect other rare animals and plants, and to paint a picture of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. I also want to learn from the "guardians" who protect giant pandas, protect nature with warm love, protect animals and plants, and protect our earth!
