The main transformer is the core equipment of the substation, and its safe and stable operation is crucial. Wang Yonghuan presided over the research of "Research and Application of Online Monitoring Technology of Substation Main Transformer". In the process of research, pioneering and innovative, bold attempts, changed the traditional transformer oil chromatography detection method, newly added micro-water, iron core current detection project, realized the real-time monitoring, analysis and diagnosis and alarm functions of the main parameters of the 110 kV main variable of the oilfield power grid, provided a basis for the implementation of state maintenance for the main transformer, extended the service life of the transformer, and the comprehensive benefit was about 1.6776 million yuan.
She led the research team to study the "Research and Development and Application of Non-full-phase Breaking Technology in Oilfield Distribution Network", which realized uninterrupted power supply during instantaneous two-phase (grounding) short-circuit fault, improved the reliability of power supply in the distribution network, and won the third prize of Henan Oilfield Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019. The "Vacuum Detection and Monitoring Technology of Vacuum Interrupter" studied by them effectively solved the technical problem of insufficient power grid equipment detection of vacuum circuit breaker preventive test power frequency withstand voltage method, and the achievement won the third prize of Sinopec Group Corporation's scientific and technological progress in 2019.

According to the load consumption capacity of Henan Oilfield Power Grid, Wang Yonghuan led the public relations team to compile the Henan Oilfield Photovoltaic and Wind Power Generation Development Plan, carried out the research of "Oilfield Regional Wind and Solar Power Generation Technology Application Research", formed a set of feasible schemes for photovoltaic and wind power generation in oilfield areas, explored the wind power generation operation mode suitable for oil areas, and signed the "Wind Power Direct Power Supply Energy Service Framework Agreement" with the collaborating units, which can reduce the purchase cost of oilfields by about 3.5 million yuan per year after completion.
Kung Fu pays off. On December 9, 2020, the solar photovoltaic power generation project in the hydropower plant area was officially completed and put into operation, which can save about 350,000 yuan in the annual purchase cost of the oilfield. In May this year, the next two-door photovoltaic generator set was connected to the grid for power generation. As of September 30 this year, a total of 885,060 kWh of electricity generation has been completed, reducing electricity expenditure by 620,000 yuan and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 842 tons. At present, the second phase of solar photovoltaic power generation projects and wind power generation projects are being actively promoted. The total installed capacity of the project is about 18MW, and after completion, it is expected to generate 34 million kWh of electricity per year, reduce the cost of purchasing electricity by about 10.5 million yuan, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 32,351 tons.

She also compiled the knowledge she learned into a lesson plan outline and regularly went to the grass-roots level to impart experience, and trained and taught for the transfer of posts, lightning protection testing and external market projects such as the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, Yichang, Gansu- Shaanxi, and Xinjiang organized by hydropower plants, so as to improve everyone's post skills and greatly improve the skills of personnel transferring jobs and expanding the market.
