Recently, the laboratory of Sanya Coral Reef Ecology Research Institute obtained the provincial CMA qualification certificate, becoming the first third-party testing and inspection institution with legal effect in Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. The acquisition of the CMA qualification certificate means that the laboratory of the Sanya Coral Reef Ecology Research Institute can independently undertake the third-party impartial inspection, issue data and results with proof to the society, and independently write and carry out business activities.

According to reports, from July 9 to 10, 2021, entrusted by the Hainan Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the review experts conducted the first evaluation of the ability of the institute and successfully passed, and successfully obtained the CMA qualification certificate. Through this review work, the institute has improved the operation skills of personnel, optimized facilities and equipment, and made quality management more scientific and standardized, while enhancing market competitiveness and improving service quality.

At present, the research institute has invested nearly 5 million yuan in construction costs, and the laboratory has set up a sample room, an inorganic laboratory, and an organic laboratory, which provides a good hardware equipment and environment for carrying out related business.
