According to Meizhou Daily, the above four players are from Meizhou Hakka Football Club, and four players of Meizhou team participated in the Olympic Games at the same time, which is the first time in the history of football in the city.

Since women's football became an official Olympic event in 1996, the Chinese team has only missed the 2012 London Olympic Games, making it the women's football team with the most Olympic participations in Asia.
