Redick joined the ESPN team to start a new chapter in his life

JJ Redick, who announced his retirement in September this year, will join espnon broadcast team as a commentator to analyze and comment on the game.

Redick noted in a statement: "After playing in the NBA for 15 years, I can use what I have learned on the court to provide my observations and opinions on the game.

I'm thrilled to find my place on ESPN, the biggest sports platform, and I'm looking forward to starting my career off the pitch on such an incredible platform."

This isn't Redick's first foray into the media space, as early as 2015 he launched his own Podcast show and registered a new company," ThreeFourTwo Productions in 2020. The company's name comes from Redick's habit of shooting 342 shots a day during the offseason.

For Redick to join, ESPN's senior vice president of NBA programming, David Roberts, also welcomed it.

Redick's unique perspective and insight will further enhance the depth of our team. He's worked with a lot of superstars, and that's another trait that can serve fans. Roberts said.
