JJ Redick announces his retirement.
Redick wrote: "The first team, the last one, today I announce my retirement from basketball. Thanks to everyone I met on my journey. ”
Redick was selected by the Magic with the 11th pick in 2006, and became the top shooter in the NBA in his 15-year career, running actively without the ball, making difficult and tactical three-point shots, averaging 12.8 points in 25.5 minutes per game and shooting 41.5% from three-point range.
