But eventually diagnosed by a veterinarian, he was incapacitated due to illness and may not be able to recover for life...
After that, Herman seemed to be very passive, not often dealing with other animals, always living alone, and was only occasionally taken out for walks and sunbathing by volunteers.
It wasn't until the Chihuahua named Lundy appeared that Herman's life changed.
Lundy was found to be strange at one month old, not running or jumping, diagnosed by veterinarians as having a spinal cord injury, and then equipped with a wheelchair to walk...
So Lundy was taken in by the Mia Foundation, and miraculously, when Lundy was lying in the nest, Herman would take the initiative to rub Lundy, as if to try to take care of it.
And Lundy naturally snuggled up to Herman, as if he were playing with it.
The volunteers were touched by their warm scene at first sight, and some of them were surprised and magical.
But the volunteers also said they were "happy to be with each other and warm to each other." ”
Although they cannot restore their ability to fly and walk, at least they are no longer alone and have spiritual comfort.
