On October 28, Shanghai held the Seventh National Census Summary and Commendation Meeting, and awarded medals and honorary certificates to the advanced collectives and individuals at the national and municipal levels. According to the Decision of the Leading Group of the Seventh National Census of the State Council on Commending the Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals of the Seventh National Census (GuorenPu Group Zi [2021] No. 1), the Jinshan District Bureau of Statistics was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Collective of the Seventh National Census". At the same time, a total of 2 collectives and 5 individuals in our district have won the honorary titles of Municipal Advanced Collective and Municipal Advanced Individual respectively.
Since the launch of the seventh national census, the Jinshan District Bureau of Statistics has organized and coordinated more than 4,000 census supervisors and enumerators in the whole region in accordance with the unified deployment of the state and the city, under the strong leadership of the district party committee and the district government, and with the full cooperation of all departments and towns (industrial zones) in the whole district, and conscientiously implemented various work requirements in strict accordance with the national census plan, and successfully completed the tasks of the seventh census.
Carefully organized strong guarantees
Before officially entering the seventh national census, Jinshan District formulated the census work system for the first time, set up working institutions, and implemented various safeguard measures such as personnel, funds, and venues. Extensive mobilization, active recommendation, and strict screening at the district, town, and village (neighborhood) levels have formed an efficient and responsible census work team.
The District Bureau of Statistics has also carried out focused and targeted business training, online answering questions, case analysis, etc. for census instructors and enumerators in the whole district, clarifying work standards, refining work processes, and improving the effectiveness of training. At the same time, we should conscientiously ensure that all kinds of materials are distributed in a measured manner, all kinds of data are managed in an orderly manner, and various measures are guaranteed effectively.
Widely publicize and create an atmosphere
All units and departments in the whole region have actively made overall plans and coordination, made early plans, re-implemented them, and made efforts to publicize and launch them, so as to create a good atmosphere for the census work.
In addition to traditional forms such as pulling banners, posting posters, and using radio stations, new media are actively used to carry out propaganda and mobilization.
