Recently, the Annecy International Animation Festival in France, known as the "Oscar of Animation", announced the list of official feature film competition units in 2020, and the Chinese animation "Luo Xiaohei" was shortlisted for the official feature film Contrechamp competition unit. Founded in 2018, the "Contrechamp Competition Unit" is a competition unit that pursues innovation and personalization of works.

Luo XiaoHei is a Chinese animated film directed by MTJJ that tells the fantasy adventure of one person and one cat. The film uses two-dimensional hand-drawn paintings back to basics to complete a beautiful and soothing national style story, trying to explore the topic of how people and nature get along with themselves. Inhabiting modern society, monsters and mythological figures who have witnessed the development and change of human beings provide people with an alternative and interesting perspective on modern society. The film was released on September 7, 2019 in Chinese mainland and grossed 311 million yuan at the box office.
