Everyone wants to succeed, but how do you succeed?
Recently, I read the best-selling book "Poor Charlie's Treasure Book: Charlie Munger's Wisdom Proverbs", in which Charlie Munger personally describes the 4 principles of his own success, and he shares them with you here.
Principle 1: Preparation
Don't be afraid of not having a chance, you are afraid of not being prepared.
Before you do anything, be prepared and you have a higher probability of success. There is a Chinese proverb that "only by fighting an unprepared battle can we be invincible" also talks about the importance of preparation.
I feel this principle very deeply, because I can't go out to work at home with my children, and at first I was always worried that I wouldn't be able to find a job when I went out later, but now I am very confident, because I am in the gap with my baby, and I have been preparing for re-entering the workplace.
After re-entering the workplace, I am most likely to do the old bank - new media operation, for which I opened a number of platform private accounts, from time to time to publish some original content, and so on to find a job later, these contents are the proof that I have been in the "on-the-job state". I believe that with these proofs, I will not be unable to find a job.
"Everything is predetermined, and if it is not predetermined, it will be abolished", and if you are prepared, you will be more sure of getting rid of the result of "waste".

Principle 2: Patience
Patience hurts, but its results are sweet.
- Rousseau
Everyone knows this, especially the stock speculators are very emotional. Buffett and Munger, how can they make so much money? One of the important conditions is that they are very patient. They uphold value investment, generally long-term holdings "waiting for flowers to blossom", how many shareholders can do this?
In fact, most of the good results in the world are polished little by little by patience. My idol Satoshi Ohno, he said a sentence on the show that made me feel like I was really "powder" to people, and others asked him, what is the one thing you most want to do now? He replied: I want to spend three or four years to make a work of art that amazes the world.
Three or four years of a work, think about it and feel good testing! You should know that now under the influence of fast food culture, everyone is in a hurry to make "quick finished products". Therefore, people with patience are more likely to achieve great things.
Principle 3: Self-discipline
Self-control is the strongest instinct.
—George Bernard Shaw
Basically every successful person is very self-disciplined, Wanda's boss Wang Jianlin, every day is 4:00 to get up, go to bed together to start a dense day of the trip, we did not seriously execute, the real implementation of the process will find it really difficult and difficult. I had tried to get up at 7:15 a.m. every day and start writing a journal, but after half a year, I couldn't keep it. And Wang Jianlin has been like a day for decades, it is really too powerful!
However, after trying to "self-discipline", I found that the benefits I could get were really many, at least in terms of time, I was much more abundant than others. Especially now that many people have time occupied by mobile phones and their heads are full of information on mobile phones, there is enough time to calm down and do more valuable thoughts and actions. So, if you discipline yourself, you'll be more likely to succeed than others.
Principle 4: Objectivity
Objectivity is to believe that "planting melons and seeds and beans to get beans" and "one point of cultivation and one point of harvest", rather than having a fluke mentality and thinking that they are "different"; objectivity is to respect the laws of nature and not to deceive others.
My deep understanding of the word objective comes from my recent experience of writing novels. I didn't know where my confidence came from, I felt that I was "talented" in writing novels, so I plunged into it, and as a result, I couldn't write for a long time. Facts have proved that I am talented, on the road of writing novels, I do not even have "kindergarten" qualifications, and if you want to write a "fire" novel, you must at least start from the most basic "grammar", steady and steady, step by step slowly, rather than thinking about one step to the sky, it is possible to succeed.
Objectivity can help us have a clearer understanding of ourselves and the world, so as to make better decisions and actions.
These are the 4 recipes for success that I learned from Munger's "master". In fact, speaking of which, the secret of success is that we talk about the words of bad streets, which are easier said than done, and it is not easy to do these 4 points! You may wish to make a behavior self-examination form for yourself, which does not meet the above 4 principles, record it, analyze the reasons, and strive to do it next time, slowly, you are the person closest to success, come on!
