One summer in 1975, an old farmer rushed home along The Gele Mountains after a torrential rain and suddenly found a decaying female corpse in the wild grass.
After an investigation by the Public Security Bureau, it was found that this nameless female corpse was a martyr Wu Ming who had been searched for many years. In addition, she also has an identity, that is, an underground party member - Yang Hanxiu.

In 1913, Yang Hanxiu fell to the ground in the "Yang Zelu".
"Yang Zelu" is a large manor in Guang'an County, the owner of the manor, Yang Maoxiu, is a well-known rich man, and his brother is the famous Sichuan warlord Yang Sen. Yang Hanxiu is the only daughter of Yang Maoxiu's family, and she is slightly older in the family, her clever and sensible personality is pleasing, and she is loved by the elders of the Yang family.

The favorable family conditions have enabled Yang Hanxiu to receive a good education since she was a child, and she does not embroider and drink tea like those other thousand gold, but reads books and newspapers whenever she has leisure, and draws advanced ideas and cultural knowledge from books. Later, Yang Hanxiu made a strong request to go to school, although the Yang family felt that it was not beneficial for girls to go to school, but out of love for their children, they still let her go to the local church school, and Yang Hanxiu was exposed to a lot of advanced ideas.
In the Battle of Yichang in 1924, Yang Maoxiu was seriously injured and felt that it was difficult to heal, so he entrusted his daughter Yang Hanxiu to his brother Yang Sen and pleaded with Yang Sen to take good care of his daughter.
The time spent in Yang Sen's house was gray for Yang Hanxiu. Janssen was a typical big landlord, who often beat and scolded the servant, and the servant would kneel down and admit his mistake if he was slightly dissatisfied with Janssen. In addition to bullying servants, Janssen also forcibly married a young girl from a good family as his own concubine.
At Yang Sen's house, Yang Hanxiu witnessed the various atrocities committed by his uncle Yang Sen, and he felt sad but powerless. Studying in Wanxian County, she also witnessed the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" massacre in which British imperialist warships indiscriminately bombed Wanxian and created bloody drifts, and she stared at the ruins of the broken wall with tears in her eyes, and deeply felt that national liberation was imminent.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="51" > was inspired by Zhu De to go to Yan'an</h1>
In July 1926, Zhu De returned from the Soviet Union and was assigned by the organization to do united front work at Janssen's house. Yang Hanxiu often hid aside to eavesdrop on Yang Sen and Zhu De's conversation, and Zhu De's feelings of home and country and the concept of anti-imperialism and anti-sealing deeply attracted Yang Hanxiu.
Borrowing the excuse of sending customers, Yang Hanxiu often pulled Zhu De to talk, affectionately calling him "Uncle Zhu". Zhu De also told Yang Hanxiu a lot of stories of revolutionary volunteers, and Yang Hanxiu secretly resolved in his heart that he wanted to become a revolutionary female fighter like Qiu Jin and carry the banner of saving the country and the people.
Yang Hanxiu's tutor, Zhu Ruqing, who is also an underground revolutionary party member, saw her patriotic enthusiasm and considered her a revolutionary talent. In 1939, Zhu Ruqing introduced Yang Hanxiu to Chengdu Xingmang Bao as a proofreader and editor, and told her to wait for the notice of the party organization and soon transfer to Yan'an to start revolutionary work.
After receiving this news, Yang Hanxiu's mood was so excited that she could not calm down for a long time - she could finally start revolutionary work and realize her ambitions. But Yang Hanxiu waited for a long time, and did not wait for the news to organize her to go to Yan'an.
After many inquiries, Yang Hanxiu knew the reason. At that time, some people reported to the organization that the person introduced by Teacher Zhu was the big lady of the warlord landlord's family.
In the face of these doubts, Yang Hanxiu replied sonorously and forcefully: "Where the truth is, I know!" Whether it is the Yang Family Iron Gate or the Sichuan Sword Gate, how can it be locked and imprisoned in me! Even if it is crawling, I Yang Hanxiu also went to Yan'an. ”
After Zhu Ruqing repeatedly explained to the organization, the party organization finally agreed to Yang Hanxiu's trip to Yan'an.
However, the road to Yan'an was not smooth, and after Yang Hanxiu arrived in Baoji, because of the blockade of the Kuomintang reactionaries, he could not continue to advance, so he had to return to Qinling. There, she hid her identity and taught at ShuangshiPugonghe Primary School. During his teaching at the school, witnessing the cruel and tyrannical crimes of the Japanese army, the revolutionary fire in Yang Hanxiu's heart burned even more.
One day, Yang Hanxiu read the newspaper and learned from the newspaper that "Uncle Zhu", whom he had known, was now the commander-in-chief of the Eighth Route Army. She was overjoyed and resolutely embarked on a journey to Yan'an again. She found Gan Yumei, a fellow revolutionary, and under the protection of the guerrillas, set out for Yan'an together, all the way to eat and sleep, Gan Yumei was very worried about whether Yang Xiumei, who came from a gentry family, could adapt to such a harsh environment, but to her surprise, Yang Hanxiu never cried tired.
Once, when everyone was resting while rushing to the road, Gan Yumei saw Yang Hanxiu take off his shoes and his feet were covered with blood bubbles. At this time, the guerrillas summoned everyone to continue to hurry, and Gan Yumei just wanted to open her mouth to apply for Yang Hanxiu to take another rest, Yang Hanxiu quickly shook his head, put on his shoes, and continued to hurry with his luggage a hundred times more energetic.
The people trekked through the mountains and rivers, and it was almost a day's journey to reach the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army. However, at this moment, the situation was abrupt, and the troops of Pang Bingxun of the Kuomintang Forty Army intercepted Yang Hanxiu and his entourage and wanted to detain them to the military headquarters for examination. Gan Yumei is an anti-Japanese fighter who is rewarded by the recalcitrant army, and if censored, it will definitely be exposed. In order to cover her, Yang Hanxiu was in a hurry and revealed his identity: "I am Yang Sen's niece and Yang Maoxiu's biological daughter!" Who of you dares to move me! ”
The stubborn generals were suspicious and did not dare to offend this big lady, so they were transferred to the Luoyang labor camp. Yang Hanxiu looked for an opportunity to contact Feng Qinzai, the deputy commander of the First Theater who had an old relationship with Yang Sen, and after posing as an identity, asked Feng Qinzai to bail himself.
Yang Hanxiu was released, and she and Gan Yumei found the right moment, disguised themselves as North Korean women, and took advantage of the chaos to escape from the territory of the recalcitrant army.
After many difficulties, Yang Hanxiu and Gan Yumei were transferred to the office of the Eighth Route Army in Xi'an, and it just so happened that Commander Zhu De had also arrived in Xi'an from the North China Front. Fourteen years after a long absence, Yang Hanxiu was very excited to see his revolutionary enlightener Zhu De again. She explained to Zhu De her desire to study in Yan'an and the difficulties encountered in pursuing the revolutionary road over the years.
Yang Hanxiu said excitedly: "I Yang Hanxiu am determined to be a rebel in the families of warlords and landlords, and I will resolutely and thoroughly reform, even change my name and surname, and follow the Chinese Communist Party revolution to the end, even if I am nameless and surnameless, I will never be surnamed Yang." ”
Zhu De was very emotional and said appreciatively: "You have walked for nearly a year in order to go to Yan'an, and you have encountered so many twists and turns, this is the best entrance examination." ”
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="54" > changed its name to Wu Ming and became an underground party</h1>
Soon after, Yang Hanxiu, under the cover of the Office of the Eighth Route Army in Xi'an, successfully arrived in Yan'an, the holy land of revolution. Commander Zhu De said: "You once said that you have no name, no surname, and no surname Yang, and in order to facilitate the development of the revolutionary cause, you should change your name to Wu Ming." ”
After that, Yang Hanxiu was arranged to study in Yan University, and later she went to the Luyi Art Department to study, during which she participated in the Battle of Yetai Mountain and the Yangge Movement that combined literature and art with workers and peasants, and also participated in the rectification movement, and performed very positively.
It was not until Kang Sheng launched the "rescue campaign" that everyone knew that she was the eldest lady in the family of the Haoshen warlord. According to Kang Sheng's thinking, people from the National Unification District have some problems and are not trustworthy. With a warlord family background and the experience of being arrested by the Kuomintang and then escaping from danger, Yang Hanxiu was unsurprisingly the target of the "rescue" campaign.
In the end, it was Commander Zhu De who wrote the materials to prove Liu Hanxiu's revolutionary experience in Yan'an, so that Yang Hanxiu was finally determined by the organization to be "politically problem-free".
After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Yang Hanxiu was organized and sent back to Sichuan to carry out revolutionary work. On the plane, she was received by Zhou Enlai, vice chairman of the CPC Central Committee, who conveyed to her the core of the work of returning to Sichuan: United Front Yang Sen.
As soon as she got off the plane, Yang Hanxiu felt a malicious look, and the Kuomintang sent agents to follow her and monitor her. But Yang Hanxiu was not afraid, and in the name of "Yang Sen's niece", she carried out extensive social activities in Quxian County and carried out united front work.
Yang Hanxiu also returned to the countryside, snatched back the forcibly occupied land from his domineering brother, and sold it, ostensibly using money to build a dance hall, but in fact using the money to purchase arms, medicines and food supplies, and smuggling it to the underground party.
Under heavy surveillance, Yang Hanxiu's revolutionary actions were difficult. Once, someone reported to the reactionaries that Yang Hanxiu had organized an illegal armed organization, and the county magistrate immediately arrested Yang Hanxiu and put him in a prison in Chengdu. In the face of successive reviews, Yang Hanxiu coped with it freely, and later there was no substantive evidence, and the county magistrate had no choice but to release people.
In the autumn of 1948, the underground party's armed uprising in the Huayingshan area failed, Yang Hanxiu's identity was exposed, unfortunately, she was arrested, and the Kuomintang heavy soldiers took her to Chongqing and imprisoned her.
During his detention, the Kuomintang used all kinds of cruel means to interrogate Yang Hanxiu, and Yang Hanxiu clenched his teeth and did not reveal any information.
In April 1949, the elders of the Yang clan begged Yang Sen to release Yang Hanxiu and stop killing each other, and Yang Sen had no choice but to agree. Subsequently, Yang Hanxiu was sent out of the "slag hole" by Yang Sen under the pretext of "medical parole".
Yang Sen privately warned Yang Hanxiu that she would no longer participate in Communist Party activities and send her to the United States. In the face of Yang Sen's various requests, Yang Hanxiu did not say a word, but the flames reflected in her eyes showed the true thoughts in her heart.
As soon as Yang Sen looked at Yang Hanxiu's stubborn eyes, he knew in his heart that Yang Hanxiu would not give in.
This year, the "Nine-Two" fire caused tens of thousands of people in Chongqing to be displaced. Yang Hanxiu witnessed the tragic situation of the people, was so angry that he ran around the street and shouted to inform the people of the truth: The leader behind this fire was Yang Sen, and the Kuomintang people represented by Yang Sen deliberately set fire to the Communist Party, which was a complete conspiracy.
Yang Sen was furious and ordered Yang Hanxiu to be arrested and detained late at night, and sent someone to torture her severely. But Yang Hanxiu showed no sign of giving in, but instead angrily scolded Yang Sen as a hopeless reactionary scum.
On November 23, the secret service reported Yang Hanxiu's situation to Yang Sen. Yang Sen was ashamed and angry, slapped the table, and ordered Yang Hanxiu to be executed!
On that day, Yang Hanxiu was handcuffed and stuffed into a car, and several big men in the car strangled her alive and threw her body at the Gangangpo Bunker on Gele Mountain.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="39" > heroic sacrifice of a generation of women</h1>
After Yang Hanxiu's sacrifice, because the body could not be found, her whereabouts became a mystery for a long time.
In 1975, an old farmer in GeleShan, Chongqing, rushed into the public security bureau and panickedly reported that he had found an unnamed corpse in handcuffs at the Jingangpo bunker.
This matter attracted the government's attention, because Gele Mountain was the seat of the Kuomintang White Mansion before liberation, and the nameless corpse was still handcuffed, most likely a revolutionary fighter who was persecuted before his death, and the government immediately sent relevant experts to Chongqing to investigate.
After the skeletal analysis of experts, it was confirmed that this was a female corpse, but the specific identity could not be verified.
After visiting, the experts confirmed that the identity of the corpse was the martyr Yang Hanxiu, based on the confessions of the agents and some local records.
All his life, Yang Hanxiu contributed to the revolutionary struggle and constantly struggled for national liberation and salvation. She betrayed the rich gentry's family, resolutely threw herself into the revolution, and after countless hardships, only to protect her revolutionary faith, she embodied the extraordinary tenacity and fearlessness of a revolutionary hero, and her spirit could be sung and wept.
