What is the state of "youth" in Old Ray's eyes?
Old Ray: "Young" can be relative, but what we mean by "young" is absolute, that is, not very old, young years.
Why is youth a walk-and-go journey?
Old Ray: When you are young, there is no bondage, so you can walk as long as you want, and college is the best time. A lot of things that go through that stage and never get a chance to do it again. Many people will say that I have no conditions, no money, no courage to start, no this and no that... When I have money, when I have the conditions, when I have courage, but at that time, my dreams and ideas have changed, and I don't want to do what I wanted to do before, I don't have that state of mind, so young people should do what they have to do when they are young.
What is the biggest difference between the post-90s generation and the post-80s and post-70s generations?
Old Ray: The generation of 70 and 80 is still looking for themselves in the collective, and the post-90s growth environment makes them pay more attention to themselves in individuals. So, now the post-90s generation is actually more independent and more egotistical, and they are willing to do meaningful things that they advocate or agree with. The meaning of the Qingmi domain name qing.me is that of the young me, and what I want to express is the self-assertion of the young people.
What is the youth travel advocated by Old Ray?
Old Ray: The travel that I personally advocate most for young people is a trip with a certain value and significance. I once said that no story is no trip. When you carry a bag in your heart, there must be a story in your heart, what attracts you to this place you yearn for, maybe the story of this place, maybe the people here attract you, maybe something here makes you have the urge to think and have an interview, and then this destination has a reason why you have to go.
There is also a kind of travel that I also advocate, that is, a kind of journey that identifies self-growth, a trip that challenges oneself. For example, riding in Sichuan, riding, hiking, and other ways to challenge yourself, there may be many people who have done it, but others experience it is someone else's, and what you experience and gain will always be your own.
Why did Old Ray launch the Qingmi Elopement Program?
Lao Lei: The original idea of this campaign was to advocate that young people travel together, two people set off together, and on the way, they can better understand themselves, know each other, and experience common stories together. The two boys I knew at the time were studying in Xi'an and are now working at Huawei.
At that time two people were riding motorcycles to the west. They are dead in life, but there are still many disputes and disagreements on the road. But they all persevered, and it is still very valuable to look back on this experience in hindsight. The elopement program is actually something that our organizers have some very good feelings in it. It seems that many elopement reports received now also reflect this very well.
What will be Qingmi's next move?
Old Lei: Qingmi is because of like-mindedness, which is our slogan, Qingmi is the free union of young people's free time. Next we will launch our own products to solve two problems, the first problem is how to find a group of like-minded people, and the second problem is to find people, how to do a like-minded thing.
Question-and-answer session
Question 1: For college students, how to use the holiday to travel together through three ways: apprenticeship, cycling, and some hiking routes, how to calm the mood on the road after returning to school? What is your view on "how much ability is there, how far is the end of the world"?
Old Lei: The review of travel is the real test, when you come back from the road, you must sort out the words on the road, its value and significance is no less than on the road, and you have to write thousands of books when you come back from a thousand miles. Of course, when you are on the road, you should organize and record some words every day, the situation at that time and the emotions at that time, because when you completely finish the trip and look back, you may no longer feel it, and the situation and situation on the road are completely impossible to experience when you come back.
Pictured here is Li Xin, a trekking cyclist, whose ten-year travel story will be serialized in Qingmi
For example, when Li Xin was writing the book, he found that he could record very clearly, including the person who took the ride, the license plate number, the time, and the small details. He demanded that he had to write his travel notes for the day every day. If there is no theme, the things harvested on the road are fragmented, so it is necessary to connect your own travels through review and collation, and there will be different harvests and feelings after combing.
This is fundamentally logically true for how much ability to do as much as the end of the world. A lot of travel is a big challenge for human and financial resources. What young people lack most is money, not lack of dreams, and when you use limited money to achieve unlimited dreams, this is a contradiction in itself. In my opinion. To solve this contradiction is to come step by step, step by step, step by step, when you go up one step and then go up another step is reliable and feasible.
Then again, if you have been limiting your travel horizons with your limited conditions, it is completely undesirable, in fact, a lot of things are actually created on the road, many young friends will be at the end of the road and can be dark and bright, all the ways will eventually have a way to solve, mainly to see if you want to, whether you are determined to do it.
Question 2: Regarding a series of young students' travel safety issues and the risks of field activities, will there be some guidance in this regard in the future, and in what way?
Old Lei: In the summer vacation last year, it broke out that many female college students had a lot of unexpected safety problems on the way to travel, no matter who it was, there were safety issues when traveling, don't exaggerate which crowd it is, today when I interviewed Xiao Coconut, he said about the travel safety question I think is very good:
She said first, as a girl, especially a girl, you must go to see the world and insist on seeing the world! Second, as a girl, walking on the road will face greater risks than boys. Therefore, in any case, safety should be put first. She said she would set everyone up as bad guys and prepare everything for the worst. Because the worst people tend to look the least like the bad guys, and the worst things always happen when you think they're least likely! So you can not plan your trip, but you must have a whole set of plans to protect yourself!

Question 3: Do you care more about "personal enhancement through travel" or "delivering value through sharing"?
Old Lei: This is a very profound problem, now is an era of sharing, sending it out to share in the circle of friends, or looking for opportunities to share with others, are all proof of existence, which is also understandable. But I'm going to say that the ultimate meaning of travel is for the individual. So your experience, experience, and perception of travel, all of this still belongs to you personally. No matter how much you share it with others, it's ultimately yours. So sharing is also happy, sharing your personal experience when you can share, so that others can feel your happiness, this is the beautiful era of our lives.
Question 4: What is the meaning of travel? For students in school, there is no money, and the travel is not so comfortable. Because of the pressure of employment, does it feel like there is a lack of a reason?
Old Ray: I think the meaning of travel lies in your personal gain from the trip itself. Travel itself is not as pure as we say, and walking seems to have no mission. My nephew is 18 years old, and when he was in the third grade of elementary school, I gave him an astronomical telescope and looked up at the stars from then on, becoming an astronomy enthusiast who loved starry sky photography.
After the end of the college entrance examination, he went to Tibet alone to photograph the starry sky of Tibet that he longed for, and he felt that this was his best coming-of-age ceremony. I was very supportive of him and gave myself an account in this way when he was 18 years old. He understands the personal significance of travel, and in fact the significance of travel is mostly in how to look at travel itself.
