On September 13, Wu Xuan, secretary of the county party committee, presided over the first meeting of the county urban and rural planning committee in 2021. The meeting deliberated and adopted in principle the circular on strengthening the work of the Urban and Rural Planning Committee of Jishan County, and deliberated and agreed in principle to the relevant matters of the County Natural Resources Bureau on land use planning and the county administrative examination and approval bureau on municipal engineering construction projects, demolition and resettlement of housing, and other related matters.

It is necessary to follow the requirements of regulations and norms, focus on practicality, standardization and rationality, start from the overall situation of urban development, and fully connect with road planning and industrial layout, not only to achieve scientific planning, but also to pay attention to local conditions. It is necessary to adhere to strict management, further clarify the responsibilities of the Planning Committee, earnestly do a good job in all aspects of urban and rural planning in our county, and ensure that every inch of land in the county must be planned and every building must be approved; further improve the level of planning and design, combined with special plans for medical care, education, old-age care, and community services, fully consider the situation of land use, widely solicit opinions and suggestions, and do a good job of overall planning, scientific demonstration, and rational site selection. It is necessary to adhere to the implementation in place, all relevant departments should strictly perform their duties, strengthen coordination and cooperation, clarify the responsibility for the implementation of the plan and the completion time node, do a good job in the service guarantee of the planned project, and actively promote the construction of various projects.
