When he returned from studying at the age of seventeen, he joined the League, promoted the alliance with the Shaanxi Brotherhood, and also participated in the Guangzhou Uprising, the Second Revolution, the Patriotic War, etc., and was praised by Dr. Sun Yat-sen as the "Pillar of the Northwest Revolution". In 1918, the Beiyang warlords colluded with the reactionary forces of the Yasukuni Army to invite Jing Beimu to attend a meeting, and Jing Beimu knew that there was danger and still arrived as scheduled, and was killed at the age of thirty-one.

Sandwiched between the Hanguang Gate and the Suzaku Gate, the Gate is an inconspicuous single-hole gate and the smallest of the eighteen gates. Like the life of Jing Beimu, although short, it flashed a hidden light, contributing a beam of its own light to the brilliant night sky of Xi'an.
