The Gongqing Forest Park on summer nights is uniquely charming, not only because of the charming hydrangeas, but also because of the night elves who come every summer: sleeping butterflies, mighty shovels, elegant praying mantises, singing cicadas, running worms... And, of course, there are fireflies scattered in the forest like stars.
Since 2016, nearly a thousand people have visited these adorable elves in the "Exploring the Night Forest" science popularization event every year and come into close contact with some of them. The lights of fireflies, the smell of the armor, the greeting of the celestial cow, the dance of the blind spider... These are deeply imprinted in the childhood memories of many children.

Definition, structure and function of insects, fireflies and light
Topic 1: What are insects?
There are many animals in life that are called insects, which of them are insects? What exactly does an insect mean?
Insects account for more than 50% of all biological species known to humans (including viruses and fungi). Admiring the dazzling array of insect specimens is the easiest and most direct way to experience insect diversity.
After observing hundreds of insect specimens up close, through comparative analysis and discussion, we ourselves can try to find the answer to the previous question.
After learning about some butterfly specimens, let's try to make a butterfly specimen ourselves! While doing so, take a closer look at the body structure of the butterfly!
Topic 2: The Structure and Function of Insects
The unity of structure and function is one of the basic views of biology, which has two meanings: one is that a certain structure has a certain function corresponding to it; the other is that a certain function requires a certain structure to complete. This basic idea is a powerful tool for us to analyze biological problems and other problems.
The people take food as heaven. The same goes for worms. In order to eat, they put a lot of effort into the structure of their mouth organs. Through live observation and microscopic observation, we can find out.

Regarding epidemic prevention and control management measures:

The whole park has undergone strict disinfection and epidemic prevention safety training to fully ensure the health and safety of all tourists.
