On October 30, the 2021 "Mozi Cup" Fifth National Wargame Deduction Competition Jiangsu Division and the Second "Chess Wisdom Victory Cup" Jiangsu Provincial Wargame Deduction Competition came to an end at Southeast University.
Under the guidance of the Chinese Command and Control Society, the competition is sponsored by the National Defense Education Research Committee of the Jiangsu Higher Education Association, hosted by the Southeast University, the Army Engineering University, the Jiangsu Police Officers College, the Army Artillery and Air Defense College (Nanjing Campus), and the large-scale national defense education public welfare theme event co-organized by Nanjing University, Soochow University and China University of Mining and Technology. The competition is supported by Beijing Huashu Defense Technology Co., Ltd., Nanjing Qimou Zhisheng Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Primus Security Technology Co., Ltd.
The competition started registration on June 15, under the background of normalized epidemic prevention and control, the organizing committee actively carried out online and offline publicity and training, which lasted for 3 months and attracted a total of 237 teams and 711 players from 36 units in the military and local governments. From the number of participating units or participating teams, this year has increased year-on-year, especially the participating units have doubled compared with the previous session, setting a new record high in the history of our province's wargame deduction competition.
The competition officially kicked off on September 13. In the Internet environment, the competition adopts a mixed format of "round robin + elimination", which not only ensures the proficiency of the players on the platform, but also ensures that the competition is carried out as planned, overcomes the difficulties increased by the epidemic and the platform restructuring, and completes a total of 136 innings and 272 events in addition to the campus competition. After nearly two months of fighting, the "Snow Leopard" team of the Army Artillery Air Defense College (Nanjing Campus) won the championship, the Army Engineering University "accidentally won" team won the second place, and the "Three Good Men" team of Jiangsu Information Vocational and Technical College won the third place. Another 29 teams won the first, second and third prizes, and the top 16 teams will represent our province in this year's national competition.
It is understood that wargame deduction, as an ancient war pre-practice activity, has been inherited for thousands of years, and its military application value has been proved by a large number of war practices. The implantation and integration of modern science and technology has made the development of today's wargame deduction more perfect and diversified, and the participation of young students in wargame deduction can not only let them recognize war and study war, but also enable them to experience war and prudent war. Popularizing and popularizing the wargame deduction tournament in the national defense education practice activities of colleges and universities throughout the country is not only a practical need for young students to cultivate the concept of loving the army and being a martial artist, but also a requirement of the times for condensing powerful forces for the realization of the Chinese dream, and is of strong practical significance to China's national defense construction.
