In order to effectively prevent and timely control the sudden outbreak of schistosomiasis, standardize the risk monitoring of schistosomiasis, and improve the quality of risk monitoring, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Qujiang District of Shaoguan City, under the guidance of experts from the provincial and municipal centers for disease control and prevention, carried out snail monitoring in Qunxing Village and Dongyou Village in Zhangshi Town from May 25 to 26, 2021, and investigated 10 original snail environments.
The technical personnel of the Qujiang District CDC and the experts of the provincial and municipal CDC jointly cleaned the recovered cow dung with nylon washing and incubation method, and at the same time added the quality control reference sample of the schistosomiasis eggs to the long-necked flat bottom flask filled with water, put all the flasks at room temperature of 20-25 ° C, incubated under certain light conditions, observed once after incubation for 1, 3 and 5 hours, and saw a large number of incubated caterpillars under the saliva surface of the long-necked flat-bottom flask bottle of the quality control reference sample after 3 hours of incubation. Other cow dung long-necked flat-bottom flasks have not found schistosomiasis caterpillars.
It is understood that "schistosomiasis" is a chronic parasitic disease caused by schistosomiasis of the genus Schistosomiasis, which is mainly endemic to 73 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, with about 200 million people. Schistosomiasis is mainly divided into two types: one is enterosomiasis, mainly caused by Schistosomiasis Mansonii and Schistosomiasis Japan, and the other is urinary tract schistosomiasis, caused by Schistosomiasis in Egypt. The main epidemic in our country is Schistosomiasis in Japan. The risk monitoring of schistosomiasis in Qujiang District has been a complete success under the guidance of provincial and municipal experts, and the next step is for the staff of the Qujiang District Center for Disease Control and Prevention to continue to carry out the prevention and control of schistosomiasis, and make due contributions to the life and health of the people in Qujiang District.
