Few people know that the animation master Hayao Miyazaki's final work "The Wind Rises" is adapted from the novel of the same name by Japanese writer Tatsuo Hori.

But Miyazaki was very sure of the original novel "The Wind Rises" and gave the author a high evaluation.
The author, Tatsuo Hori, is the only disciple of the literary master Ryunosuke Wasagawa, and the novel is based on his real experiences.
In 1993, Tatsuo Hori met his girlfriend Hotaru Yano, the two fell in love and made a marriage contract, and the following year, Hotaru Yano fell ill with tuberculosis, and Tatsuo Horimoto's lung disease also fell. So the two went to the Mt. Fuji Plateau Sanatorium to recuperate, and later, Tatsuko Yano unfortunately died of ineffective treatment, and Tatsuo Hori was in great pain, so he had this masterpiece "The Wind Rises".
