【Gull Bird Storytelling】
Wen ‖ gull bird
Zhang Xianzhong was the leader of the peasant revolt in the late Ming Dynasty, along with Li Zicheng. According to historical records, Zhang Xianzhong was "long and thin, with a yellowish face, a foot and six inches, and a strong and fruitful man, known as the 'Yellow Tiger' in the army."
After Zhang Xianzhong gathered in his hometown to revolt, he called himself the "Eight Kings". Although he did not read much, he was intelligent by nature, extremely cunning, good at grasping the situation, adapting to changes, and soon became a big climate. Zhang Xianzhong was very good at fighting, coupled with his cruel personality and love to kill, the Ming dynasty officials and gentry were very afraid of him.
In the seventeenth year of Ming Chongzhen (1644 AD), Li Zicheng led a rebel army to invade Beijing, and the Ming Dynasty fell. In the same year, Zhang Xianzhong also led his troops into Sichuan. After capturing Chengdu, he declared himself emperor, established the country with the title of "Great West", changed his name to Yuan Dashun, and fought against Li Zi of Beijing.
Zhang Xianzhong did not always hold high the banner of righteousness like Li Zicheng, he was good at seeing the wind and steering when the situation was unfavorable, and he was once recruited by the Ming Dynasty. Of course, Zhang Xianzhong did not really surrender to the light, he wanted to accumulate strength in order to make a comeback and make a comeback.
Zhang Xianzhong is cunning and fickle, and his style of handling things is moody. In this regard, let alone his opponent, even the people around him are often difficult to understand.
It is said that when Zhang Xianzhong surrendered in Gucheng (古城, in present-day Gucheng County, Hubei Province), he arrested a Ming dynasty gentry named Fang Yuezong and demanded money and goods from him. Zhang Xianzhong knew that he had no money, but liked his chivalrous style of extravagant drinking, so he drank with him and talked freely.
Fang Yuezong had the problem of being drunk and mad, and pleaded with Zhang Xianzhong not to get drunk on him, so as not to lose his attitude after drinking. Zhang Xianzhong smiled and said, "Why not?" Straight to the pain of drinking for the ear! As a result, Fang Yuezong was drunk. This Fang Yuezong really couldn't control himself after drinking, and with a flurry of punches and kicks, he beat Zhang Xianzhong to find his teeth and his clothes were torn.
According to Zhang Xianzhong's fiery temper, dare to move the soil on the head of the grandfather? Fang Yuezong couldn't keep even a hundred heads. However, this time, Zhang Xianzhong not only did not go on a killing spree, but instead vigorously praised Fang Yuezong as a man and a really strong man.
After Zhang Xianzhong returned to Gucheng again, he respectfully let Fang Yuezong's family out of the city, which really made people lose their glasses.
If it is said that without blaming Fang Yuezong, Zhang Xianzhong is still sorry for Fang Shi's recklessness similar to his own, then his attitude towards Zhang Dafu, the new branch leader, is completely confusing to the second monk.
Zhang Xianzhong declared himself emperor in Chengdu, and after establishing the "Great West" regime, he opened a branch to take soldiers and obtained 120 soldiers. The name of the new branch is Zhang Dashou, who is less than 30 years old, born with a table of talents, qi Yuxuan, and good at bowing and horse, can be described as a young talent with both culture and martial arts. The courtiers all went up to the table to congratulate him, saying that the heavens had descended on the great sages, and that the "Great West" would soon unify the universe and so on.
When Zhang Xianzhong heard the great joy, he hurriedly summoned Zhang Dashou. At the sight of the "Dragon Heart" Great Joy, the group of courtiers saw this and praised it even more, and unanimously believed that Zhang Dasheng was a strange man who had never existed in ancient and modern times.
Zhang Xianzhong couldn't help but be overjoyed, it was a bounty, a banquet, and a painter was summoned to paint a portrait of him, and finally he rewarded 4 beautiful women, 1st seat of A and 20 people of Jia Ding, and he was really happy to get the wizard.
Of course, Zhang Zhuangyuan was grateful to Shu Zero, which was not, early in the morning after receiving the beautiful woman mansion, he sneaked to Thank you, ready to show his loyalty to Emperor Zhang, for the "Great West" regime, and for the Tang Dynasty.
Zhang Xianzhong heard that Yuanyuan was coming on the dragon chair, and suddenly he didn't know which nerve was touched, and he actually said: "This donkey was raised, Lao Tzu loved him tightly, and when he saw him, he loved him even more in his heart." Our lao tzu is a little afraid of seeing him, you should quickly clean him up for me, and don't ask him to see us Lao Tzu again! ”
Emperor Zhang spoke, and his men naturally did not dare to be sloppy, so Zhang Zhuangyuan's family, along with the beauties and family members they had rewarded, were all beheaded, and none of them remained. Poor Zhang Zhuangyuan experienced great ups and downs, great joys and sorrows from wealth and glory to different places in just a few days, and the confused one became a ghost under the knife.
Zhang Xianzhong's murderous nature, zhengshi yeshi have records about his "tuchuan", and it is difficult to count the Sichuan officials and people who died under him and his subordinates' butcher knives. Two of these things are enough to illustrate Zhang Xianzhong's cruelty and moodiness.
One is recorded in the book "Shu Bi": once, he cut off the women's little feet and piled them into a mountain shape, and took his most beloved concubine to see it. The concubine smiled and said, "It looks good, but it is not enough, and it is better to have a pair of beautiful golden lotuses to do lotus peaks." Zhang Xianzhong thought about it, smiled and said, "Your feet are the most beautiful, and they are suitable for making Lotus Peak." So he chopped off the little concubine's feet and put them on the top of lotus peak. Subsequently, he sent someone to burn these small bipods to burn down, called "lighting candles (feet)".
The other is recorded in the book "Shu Broken Mirror": One night, one of his young sons passed in front of the church, and Zhang Zhaozi did not respond, that is, he ordered him to be killed. The next morning, he regretted it, asked his wives and concubines why they had not saved them last night, and ordered that all the wives and concubines and the axemen who killed their young sons be killed.
After the fall of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Xianzhong's general Liu Jinzhong garrisoned Suining, Sichuan, and repeatedly wanted to attack Hanzhong, which was occupied by Qing soldiers. Zhang Xianzhong warned him not to send troops easily, but Liu Jinzhong did not think so, and insisted on sending troops, resulting in a major defeat.
Zhang Xianzhong was furious when he heard the news and sent someone to preach the "Holy Will" to teach him. Only to hear the emissary read aloud: "Fengtian Carried the transport, the emperor decreed: 'Our Lao Tzu told you not to go to Hanzhong, you forced you to go to Hanzhong, and now you have broken a lot of soldiers and horses.' Donkey balls, into your mother's hair! 'Chin-hoo. ”
This is probably the most personal and powerful holy will ever! The Suining Wen warriors who were kneeling on the ground were stunned and looked at each other. They forced themselves to laugh, and after hearing this breath-eating holy decree, they all bowed their heads and retreated.
Everyone else went back and laughed, and Liu Jinzhong not only couldn't laugh after being scolded bitterly, but he was also in a big mess, because he was afraid that the moody Emperor Zhang would do something amazing and make him unable to eat and walk. In the end, Liu Jinzhong thought about it again and again, simply did not do two things, and ran to Hanzhong overnight to surrender to the Qing Dynasty.
Under the joint attack of the Qing army and the local gentry armed forces in Sichuan, Zhang Xianzhong had no choice but to abandon Chengdu and go north to garrison the mountains in the western part of Northern Sichuan. Faced with an increasingly embarrassing situation, an idea that surprised everyone came out of Zhang Xianzhong's mind again.
He said to several of his henchmen, "The emperor is extremely difficult to do, and we Lao Tzu can't do it." Nowadays, Lao Tzu has a lot of gold and silver, and it is better to be an emperor than to be a cashmere guest. I now have tens of thousands of gold and silver, dozens of velvet goods, a hundred and ten good donkeys and horses, and kill all these people, I wait for dozens of confidants, move gold and silver velvet goods, go to Nanjing to be a guest of velvet goods, enjoy wealth, and live happily in the second half of the world, why not? ”
It seems that in Zhang Xianzhong's eyes, being an emperor is really not as strong as selling velvet goods. In order to realize this wish, it is even possible to put the lives of the soldiers who have followed him for many years to die. In the face of this ridiculous fantasy, several henchmen shook their heads helplessly, secretly preparing to make other plans.
Just as Zhang Xianzhong was stepping up his pace to complete his shocking feat, Liu Jinzhong suddenly attacked with the Qing soldiers, Zhang Xianzhong was caught off guard, fell under the arrows of the Qing army, and with his unfinished whimsy, he closed his incomprehensible eyes forever.
Zhang Xianzhong's unconventional, humorous and comical talent really added a lot of charm to him, but unfortunately, as a chaotic tyrant, he was so absurd and unreliable that he could only end up with a soldier defeated and killed, and the end of the world's shame and laughter. If It is said that Li Zicheng's beginning and end and his success are still worthy of sympathy and regret by the people of the time and posterity, then there should be no suspense in the final defeat of Zhang Xianzhong, who is cruel and nonsensical!
