Shenbei New District Huangjia Street Latahu Village, administrative village, there are two natural villages of Latahu lake and Huanggangzi.
Origin of place names. Lake Lata was once known as Lotus Lake. After the stone Buddha temple was built on the top of the tower, when the sun sets, the shadow of the peak tower is reflected in the water of the crescent lake in the north of the village, and people change the name of the village to Lata Lake. The archives of the Shenyang County Office of the Republic of China once recorded that there is an ancient pagoda in the Shifo Village of Tieling Mountain, towering over the mountains, four or five meters high, although it is split by one-third, it is still not a standoff. Connected by mountains and rivers, the scenery is pleasant, and the visitors can go boating to see its waves, which really has the feeling of "tower shadow remotely opening the mountain fog, and the flute sound is clear and the water is cool". Due to the peculiar shape of the mountain, the back of the Liao River, the peak of The Tower Mountain, and the Shadow River of the Tower have formed the natural landscape of Lata Lake.
History. Latahu Village was formerly part of the fifth district of Tieling County. In May 1950, together with the 12 administrative villages belonging to the fifth district of Tieling County, it was assigned to xincheng sub-district. In December of the same year, the Stone Buddha Temple District was established in The Village of Daliantun. In December 1951, Latahu Village was subordinated to the Shifo Temple Sub-district of Xincheng sub-district. In August 1952, it belonged to the Shifosi District. In March 1954, it was under the jurisdiction of the ShifoSi Sub-district in the northern suburbs of Shenyang. In 1955, it was subordinated to the Shifo Temple Office in the northern suburbs. In March 1956, it was subordinated to the Northern Suburbs Of shifo temple office waist middle tai township. In July 1956, it belonged to Waist Zhongtai Township, Xincheng Sub-district Public Office of Shenyang County. In March 1958, it was subordinated to Waizhongtai Township, Shenyang County. In August 1958, it was subordinated to the Waist Middle Terrace Management District of Xinchengzi People's Commune in Shenyang County. On January 1, 1960, it was subordinated to the Waist Middle Terrace Management District of Xincheng sub-district Xincheng sub-commune. In August 1961, it was subordinated to the Waist Central Tai people's commune. In October 1965, it was subordinated to Huangjia People's Commune. In March 1983, it belonged to Huang's hometown. On June 20, 1984, it was subordinated to Huangjia Xibo Nationality Township. In 2007, it was subordinated to Huangjia Subdistrict.

Village profile. The Zuo Xiao River flows through the south of the village, and to the north of the village is the Liaohe Qixing Wetland Park. The Yellow Pull Line highway passes through the village. Historical sites. In the village, there is the former site of the 57th Cadre School of LataHu of the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee in the early 1970s, which was included in the recommended list of the fifth batch of municipal cultural relics protection units in Shenyang, and the category is an important historical site and representative building in modern and modern times.
Smelter Staff College Building
On March 21, 1978, the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee signed an agreement with the Shenyang Smelter to sell the site and farm land of the May Seventh Cadre School to the smelter as a whole. At that time, the smelter invested 2.5 million yuan, plus some building materials for the construction of party schools. The May Seventh Cadre School handed over 16,729 square meters of buildings and ancillary equipment and 1,790 mu of arable land to the smelter. The buildings we see at the original site of the 57th Cadre School in Lata Lake are basically built by the Shenyang smelter. The remaining bungalow in the southeast corner of the courtyard is a remnant of the cadre school period. In 1979, Shenyang Smelter Staff University, Staff Secondary School and Technical School were formally established at the original site of the 57th Cadre School in Lata Lake, and was discontinued in 1983.
Historical legends. Legend has it that a long time ago, Lotus Lake was very large, the lake was clear, full of lotus flowers, and flocks of fish and shrimp. Most of the people around them make a living by fishing and catching shrimp.
One evening, people were pulling nets by the lake to fish, and suddenly the sky was cloudy and pouring heavy rain. The lake turns over, the waves are more than three feet high, the fish and shrimp in the lake are tossed to death, and the lotus flowers on the surface of the water have become mud flowers. The rain was getting heavier and heavier, the lake was soaring, and the people who lived by the lake had no choice but to move to the Seven Stars Mountain to hide. This incident alarmed the Stone Buddha Daoists on the Stone Buddha Mountain. The Daoist asked about the situation and told the people, "In order to relieve the disaster of the great water, a seven-story town evil pagoda must be built within seven days." "People braved the wind and rain and rushed to build pagodas day and night. One day, two days, three days... By the seventh day, the waves in lotus lake were even higher, more than 10 zhang. That evening, the town evil tower was finally completed, only to see a white light from the top of the tower shooting towards the Lotus Lake, and suddenly the rain passed, the lake was calm, and people saw a giant dragon lying motionless on the beach. It turned out that the evil dragon was doing something wrong! At this time, only to see the clear lake reflect the shadow of the pagoda on the Seven Stars Mountain, since then, people have renamed lotus lake to Lata Lake.
Schooling. Since 1958, a primary school has been set up, which belongs to the branch (teaching point) of Gaokan Primary School in Huang's hometown. In 1985 there were 2 classes, 18 students, and 2 teachers.
