Xiao Li checked his mother's mobile phone and found that there were no pre-installed applications on the mobile phone, and her mother would not install applications that would not use online shopping, so why could the mobile phone receive promotional text messages from these applications?
The mobile phone number was inexplicably registered, Xiao Li was very confused, his mother's mobile phone was obviously in his own hand, but why was it secretly operated by others? Who used my mother's mobile phone number? What is the purpose of the other party's registration of these platforms?
For the safety of his mother's mobile phone, Xiao Li went to the jurisdiction to report to the police and asked for help. After learning about the situation, the police told Xiao Li that her mother's mobile phone number had been stolen, because before Xiao Li called the police, the Jianli police received some clues.
Subsequently, the Jianli police conducted a joint investigation of the clues they had and the situation reflected by Xiao Li. Through investigation, the police found that Xiao Li took his mother to the communication business outlets for mobile phone numbers, and was suspected of committing a major crime.
Who would have thought that handling personal mobile phone business at a regular communication business outlet would be targeted by criminal gangs? According to the police, this criminal gang, they have a clear division of labor, work together, and call this crime "pulling new", that is, to attract new members to register various network applications.
The gang has three main divisions of labor, namely the staff of the communication business outlets, the new group owners, and the customer service of the code collection. When Xiao Li took his mother to the business outlets to buy a mobile phone number, the staff privately sent the mobile phone number to the group, and the code collection customer service in the "pull new" group immediately registered in the background, and then, the registration verification code will be sent to the mobile phone of the business outlet staff, the staff will send the verification code to the group, the code customer service fills in the verification code, and completely verifies the registration. The staff immediately deleted the verification code SMS message and returned the mobile phone number to Xiao Li.
Without the knowledge of others, stealing other people's information and illegally making profits, this black and gray industrial chain of "illegal infringement of citizens' personal information" has finally appeared in its original form. As the Jianli police continued to investigate, it was found that a total of 20 communication business outlets in the city were suspected of being involved in crimes. On September 15, 2021, the Jianli Municipal Public Security Bureau launched a centralized network collection operation, arresting a total of 38 suspects and seizing 36 mobile phones involved in the case.
After interrogation, 38 people involved in the case confessed to the illegal and criminal facts of infringing on citizens' personal information.
Through investigation and evidence collection, 38 criminal suspects illegally profited nearly 300,000 yuan, involving more than 70,000 pieces of infringement of citizens' personal information. These suspects obviously have serious business channels, but how did they embark on the road of crime?
Through interrogation, 38 suspects confessed that they were drawn into the "Laxin" group, and the person who gave them rebates was a man named Xu Mou, who was also the leader of the "Laxin" group.
Through the investigation, it was found that there was also a criminal gang hidden behind Xu.
Subsequently, the Jianli police rushed to Hunan and arrested Xu Mou's two brothers and 3 other people. After arriving at the case, Xu and 3 other criminal suspects confessed to their criminal facts.
It turned out that Xu saw an advertisement for a company called "Tao Mou Bar" on the Internet to publish a "Laxin" rebate, and signed a "Laxin" contract with the company. However, Xu Mou himself did not have new users, thinking about it, Xu Mou set his eyes on those communication business outlets.
Through ground pushing, Xu mou has developed many downlines in Jianli urban areas and townships, and many people in communication business outlets cannot withstand the temptation of rebates and are deeply trapped in it. Some business outlets adhere to the bottom line and turn Xu away.
After preliminary verification, Xu Mou and other 3 people have established more than 20 WeChat groups to provide a trading platform for trafficking citizens' personal information, and a large number of registered transaction information will appear in the group every day.
Through investigation and evidence collection, the criminal gang headed by Xu Mou involved more than 100,000 pieces of infringement of citizens' personal information and more than 170,000 yuan of illegal gains. So why did Xu Mou's online line spend a lot of money to acquire citizens' personal information? What wishful thinking are they behind their backs?
Through in-depth investigation, the special police have expanded the line to investigate more than 10 people on the line of Xu Mou. At present, the case is being cracked down on in the whole chain.
