Golden Retriever Q and Kumquat are settled for the time being, let's continue to find a home!

author:Pet that thing

Although there are still a lot of rescued children to worry about, but at present, I am more worried about the two golden retriever babies Little Q and Kumquat. Obviously it is so cute and sunny, how come it has not been found to adopt? In exchange for a good life, they deserve a good home.

But, again, as the old saying goes, my principle is: either don't rescue, rescue must have a beginning and an end. So, today I still want to briefly introduce the recent situation of Little Q and Kumquat, and then find a home for them!

Little Q student: In March 2016, I picked up a big golden retriever on the road, and I had a skin disease and three tumors at that time. Later, after a period of foster care, the body was conditioned and the tumor was removed. After two months of surgical conditioning, everything was normal. He was discharged from the hospital in August this year and is now in foster care at The Dog Holiday Inn. I really want to thank Tingting, the owner of Dog Holiday Hotel, for giving us an unprecedented discount, but embracing her whole heart to be good to them. My family's baby foster has been looking for them all the time, and I have been very relieved. So the dogs I rescued were temporarily kept in their house, and I was very relieved.

In the past two months, Xiao Q's body has become healthier and healthier, and his personality has become more and more sunny, and he is no longer afraid of things inwardly. Little Q's personality is particularly good and gentle, his age is definitely not small, at least eight years old, but the body is very healthy, simply energetic. And Little Q is very quiet, frankly, I haven't heard him bark until now after saving him in March, except once when I saw the kitten, he hummed a few times. In my heart, I prefer the personality of Little Q to Kumquat, quiet and indisputable. But each time it was because of old age, than refusing to adopt.

Maybe it's just that fate hasn't arrived, and we continue to look forward to it!

The story of kumquat is believed to be known to many people, on March 7, bought from a pork stall, the evil pork guy is planning to slaughter him as lamb to sell. Kumquat was still looking confused at the time.

For the past eight months, Kumquat has been in a large VIP room at the Gwangse Animal Hospital. Because at the time of rescue, the kumquat was 88 pounds, and the skull was particularly large, so he lived in a super room to recuperate. Kumquats have cataracts, mild diabetes and cryptorchidism. However, surgery cannot be performed because of diabetes, and cryptorchidism must be operated on because of the risk of becoming a tumor due to the disease. At that time, the situation of kumquat was one link and one link.

After eight months of treatment and recuperation, many friends who had seen kumquat in the early stage of rescue have found that the cataract of kumquat's eyes is much better now. Diabetes has been cured, so last month the cryptorchidism surgery was successfully completed. At present, the problem of kumquat is the common disease of golden retrievers, joint problems. That day before leaving the hospital, I took a special film, and the doctor said that there was a problem with the joint socket, and swimming in the sun and taking medicine could improve it.

It is worth mentioning that I really really really want to thank the medical staff and boss of The Gwange Animal Hospital. The cost of treatment and foster care for kumquat is definitely a huge amount, and I can't imagine the 220 days of foster care alone. There is also the cost of cataract, diabetes and cryptorchidism surgery. However, they actually let me take the kumquat out of the hospital first, and told me that the cost could be slowly paid. Because they, like me, think that the sooner the kumquat joints can swim in the sun and walk in the mud, the better.

The manager of the hospital is currently calculating the list of fees and has said that he will give me as much as possible to reduce the fee. I am so grateful for this! So, our kumquat finally broke away from the claustrophobic life of the hospital and ushered in the sun, grass and splash.
