Bright summer days, strong love for the Dragon Boat Festival. It is another year when the rice dumplings are fragrant, and it is also the Arrival of the Dragon Boat Festival in another year. In order to inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese culture and create a civilized, peaceful and warm festival atmosphere on campus, Luohe Yucai Middle School organized our festival - Dragon Boat Festival series of activities on the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival.
The activities were carried out by art classes, and the students actively participated, which was rich in content and far-reaching in significance. First of all, in the cultural popularization session, Teacher Zhou quoted the scriptures and told the students about the origin and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival. Lead the students to trace the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, understand Qu Yuan's patriotic spirit, and better temper and improve themselves.
Subsequently, activities such as the Dragon Boat Festival painting competition and making sachets were carried out, which stimulated the students' enthusiasm for learning and allowed them to experience and inherit the Dragon Boat Festival culture in the activities. Exquisite paintings and sachets of different shapes demonstrate the outstanding creativity and outstanding hands-on ability of the students. After fierce competition, Qu Mei, Liu Xingchen, Sun Wanzhuo, Hou Yishan and Yu Miao won the first prize in the painting competition; Li Panyu, Li Zixuan, Huang Yifei, Zhu Jiayin, Cheng Wendi, Luo Xiaohan, Li Chenxi, Wang Zihan, Li Jiayuan and Yang Yaxing won the second prize.
Through the activities of the Dragon Boat Festival, the students not only further understood the spiritual connotation behind the Dragon Boat Festival, exercised their hands-on ability and life skills, but also were impressed by the wisdom of the ancestors and proud of the diversified Traditional Chinese Culture. The students deeply felt that the Dragon Boat Festival needed to be inherited as an excellent traditional culture, and also expressed their firm belief and determination to become the inheritors of China's excellent culture.
Leisurely smelled the incense of mugwort leaves, and celebrated the rice dumplings longer. This series of activities of the Dragon Boat Festival has brought into play the power of the main position of moral education in the school, allowing teachers and students to personally experience and perceive the Dragon Boat Festival culture at close range, and sowing the seeds of traditional culture into the hearts of students and making it take root!
