May 10 (China News Online) -- A series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the "Sound and Shadow - Tribute to the Treasures of the Nation" famous recital meeting was held in the former residence of Soong Ching Ling in Shanghai on the 10th.
The recitation meeting was jointly launched by the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Former Residence Memorial Hall and the Shanghai Film Actor Troupe, hoping to carry forward and inherit Soong Ching Ling's firm belief of "always being with the party" on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the party.

The recitation meeting was divided into three chapters: "Sincere and Seamless", "Going Together with One Heart" and "Qiong Ying Liu Rhyme". It includes 12 recitations, including "Self-Description", "Salute to the Communist Party of China", "The People's Will Is Invincible", "Ode to Blue and Flower", and "May the Little Saplings Grow Up Healthily". Selected from Soong Ching-ling's speeches, letters and manuscripts, Sun Yat-sen's letters and poems written by friends, etc., it aims to tell the original story of Soong Ching-ling's sincere love with Sun Yat-sen, the struggle to go with the Chinese Communist Party, create the future, and her most sincere feelings and life.
Among them, "Salute to the Communist Party of China" is a congratulatory speech written by Soong Ching-ling in 1949 to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. In her congratulatory speech, Song Qingling expressed her heartfelt joy, cheering and tribute to the victory of the people and the revolutionary cause led by the Communist Party of China in the form of six "tributes" and one "long live" in the form of prose poems.

Shanghai Film Group has gathered many famous artists in the Shanghai film industry, such as Da Shichang, Liang Boluo, Xi Meijuan, Zhu Manfang, Bao Zhifang, Wang Shihuai, Tong Ruixin, Gong Xue, Zhao Jing, Yu Hui, Sun Qing, Li Zonghan, Ou Liya, etc. The artists use their voices to activate those words that are either simple or exciting, vividly reproducing Song Qingling's life of fighting for the country and the people, telling the story of his home country that happened in the glory years, moving people with sound and emotion. In the form of art, the recitation will allow the audience to approach Soong Ching-ling, learn from Soong Ching-ling's revolutionary spirit and firm faith, pay tribute to Soong Ching-ling's great and glorious life, and pay tribute to the Communist Party of China that led the people to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Song Qingling was a great woman of the 20th century and was hailed as the "treasure of the country". Her long revolutionary career has witnessed the great changes in Chinese history in the 20th century, and the life of Soong Ching Ling has always been linked to the fate of the Chinese nation, the fate of the Chinese people, and the cpc has always been in the same boat through thick and thin. At the beginning of the birth of the Communist Party of China, Soong Ching-ling firmly supported Sun Yat-sen's three major policies of "uniting with Russia, uniting with the Communist Party, and supporting peasants and workers"; after the failure of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, Soong Ching-ling announced a break with the right wing of the Kuomintang and foresight saw that "China's hope is in the Communist Party." During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Soong Ching-ling actively promoted the establishment of the Anti-Japanese National United Front and extensively sought international assistance with her lofty prestige at home and abroad; after the founding of New China, as one of the founders of New China, Soong Ching-ling, under the leadership of the Party, had the same heart as a rock, struggled in the front line of New China's construction, and made outstanding contributions to New China's diplomatic cause and the welfare of women and children. Shanghai Song Qingling's former residence is the place where Song Qingling lived the longest in her life, an important place for her to engage in state affairs activities, and also a "lovely home" in her heart. Soong Ching Ling especially liked the garden surrounded by fragrant camphor trees in his home, and in the 1950s and 1960s, Soong Ching Ling held tea parties in the garden of his apartment many times to entertain visiting foreign heads of state and delegation. On the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Party in 2021, the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Former Residence Memorial Hall joined hands with the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe to hold a reading party in the garden of the former residence to pay tribute to Song Qingling, the "treasure of the country", and pay tribute to the Communist Party of China in the form of recitation.
Present at the event were Xue Chao, president of the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association, Ni Yifei, director of the Shanghai Sun Yat-sen Soong Ching Ling Cultural Relics Management Committee, Wang Jian'er, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors of Shanghai Film Group, Niu Ben, a famous film performance artist, as well as more than 100 representatives and guests from Shanghai's publicity, culture and art, cultural and cultural museums, middle schools, colleges and universities.
