Since 2011, the "Weishi Cup" Youth Qu Art Competition has been successfully held for five sessions, and each session has received enthusiastic responses. Since the launch of this year's competition in March, all districts in Shanghai have responded positively and launched one after another, and schools have actively participated, and the 174 participating programs from all over the city have the characteristics of the times, reflecting the characteristics of teenagers and highlighting artistic taste. The competition is divided into three groups: kindergarten group, primary and secondary school group and youth group, after the fierce competition of the preliminary, semi-final and final, 50 "Quyi Stars", 50 "Quyi New Seedlings" and 30 "Little Peony Awards" were finally born.
Qian Cheng, a judge of the competition, vice chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Ququ Association, and deputy head of the Shanghai Burlesque Troupe, believes that compared with the past, the overall scale of the youth song art competition, the level of the contestants, the type of music art, and the stage effect have been greatly improved, "their understanding and presentation of the music art is better than before." The competition further expands the coverage of the participants, and the age of the players is extended to under 25 years old, so that all ages of teenagers can be covered. This year's Quyi Competition shows the vigorous and positive spiritual outlook of contemporary teenagers, highlights the inheritance and innovation of Quyi, and becomes a platform for children's quyi to learn and exchange with each other. According to Tian Tian, director of the Jiading District Cultural Center, in order to let the traditional music art have a channel for continuous inheritance, on the day of the final, the organizer recorded the entries of all the contestants, the ardent hope of each judge for the inheritance of the music art, behind-the-scenes footage and other video materials, which will become one of the contents of the database construction. After the results of the competition were announced, the Shanghai Public Digital Culture Resource Service Library "Yousheng Vision" and the WeChat of the Jiading District Cultural Center also pushed 30 works that won the "Little Peony Award" for children to learn and enjoy online.
