After the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Inner Mongolia, teachers and students of Inner Mongolia Medical University, Baotou Medical College and other colleges and universities submitted the "Letter of Request" for the first time, condensing the strength of youth in the "epidemic" of the concentric battle.

On October 24, Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, began nucleic acid testing for all employees. Inner Mongolia Medical University immediately issued an initiative to recruit "epidemic prevention and control volunteers" to young students, and in less than 2 hours, more than 1,000 students submitted "letters of request". After training, the volunteer service team went to the nucleic acid monitoring point and the frontline of community epidemic prevention and control in batches. At the same time, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University sent 43 nursing staff in three batches to form a professional nursing team to support nucleic acid testing and sampling in Saihan District, Hohhot.
