The Zuli River is a first-class tributary of the Yellow River that runs through the north and south of Huining County. Due to the large cement sand content of the river, it was once called "silt river".
In 2011, I became a grassroots water conservancy worker and experienced the transformation of the Zuli River embankment project in Huining County from scratch, the river channel from narrow and unobstructed to wide and smooth, the river environment from dirty and chaotic to clean and tidy, and the river beach area from barren grass to standardized use, which really witnessed the rebirth of a river.
In 2012, Huining County decided to implement the comprehensive treatment project of the urban section of Zuli River huining County. As a water conservancy person, I know that this is a great thing for the people of Li County, but for a poor county like us, the high cost of investing more than 200 million yuan tests our confidence and determination to manage the river. After hard work, after 2 years, we have completed all the tasks of the first phase of the project, and the concept of governing a river and dressing up a city has taken root in the hearts of many people.
Since 2016, cracking the environmental problems in the upper and lower reaches of the Zuli River has become an urgent problem to be solved. At that time, driven by economic interests, a few people dug and dug randomly, and we continued to increase the intensity of investigation and inspection, work overtime, and give up weekend rest time.
At present, the county has fully completed the first and second phases of the urban section comprehensive treatment project, the third phase of the project is in full swing, after completion, it is expected that the urban section of the comprehensive treatment of the river will reach 13 kilometers, and gradually realize the full treatment of the urban section of the river, sewage collection. It turned out that the Zuli River, which was full of holes, had become a good place for people to relax and entertain after meals.
In the future, we will seize the major national strategic opportunities for the high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, extend the comprehensive management of the Zuli River Basin to the townships, build a high-quality development belt for the entire zuli River basin, strive to achieve the goal of "clean water, smooth river, green shore, and beautiful scenery", and dedicate our strength to the Anlan of the Yellow River.
