The general manager of the Yellow River Story (former Yellow River Hotel) in the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area in Yichuan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, the surrounding villagers' evaluation of her is "we have a good half of the sky, she took us on the road to riches", and this good "half of the sky" is the rich female expert - Hu Fangfang.
On the morning of April 28th, the theme activity of "Yellow River Daughter's Trip - Searching for the Initial Heart of the Towel on the Road of Party History" jointly organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Women's Federation and the China Silk Road China Channel of China Went to Yichuan County, Yan'an City, interviewed Hu Fangfang, a rich female expert, and listened to her entrepreneurial story.
Hu Fangfang was born in Dazi Village, Qiulin Town, Yichuan County, she grew up in a poor family, her parents are honest farmers who work at sunrise and rest at sunset, and six sisters in the family, who started a career of going out to work after junior high school. I used to help cook in the school cafeteria, sold books at the newsstand, learned haircuts at the barbershop... Tried in all walks of life.
After marriage, Hu Fangfang opened a cosmetics store that lasted for more than two years, and in 2005, the young couple chose to learn cooking, and then ran a small restaurant in Yichuan County. "There was no marketing strategy at the time, which led to poor business conditions until 2006, when it was heavily indebted." Hu Fangfang told the interview team.
Fortunately, the road is invincible, with the strength of not accepting defeat, she and her husband aimed at foreign tourists, running back and forth between Yichuan County and Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area every day, because the restaurants were cheap and cheap, and the business was booming day by day. In this way, he began to contact the tourism service industry, established a partnership with the travel agency, and with the support of relatives and friends, he fought all his savings and raised funds to start the establishment and operation of the Yellow River Hotel.
"In 2019, my husband and I pondered the transformation of the Yellow River Hotel, invested more than 14 million yuan, and completed all the reconstruction in July 2020, with 210 hotel rooms, which can accommodate more than 450 people at a time, and the restaurant can accommodate more than 730 people." When I was a child, my living conditions may not be good, but in retrospect it is always very warm, so I added a lot of 'big production', 'big pot rice', 'big kangtou' and other elements of that era, which were appreciated by many tourists, and now I can earn more than 1 million a year. Hu Fangfang said.
Hu Fangfang has always been worried about the sisters around her and wants to take them to get rich together. It is understood that the employees recruited by the Yellow River Story are all nearby villagers, which has solved the employment problem of nearly 50 people, of which 36 are female employees, and the per capita annual income has increased by nearly 30,000 yuan. "Everyone says that women can hold up half the sky, but in the countryside, when husbands go outside to work, many women stay at home to take care of the elderly and children." Hu Fangfang said. In order to stimulate the endogenous motivation of the surrounding women to get rich, Hu Fangfang has been actively helping them, and the villagers who want to do hygiene in the guest room and wash dishes in the kitchen, as long as they find Hu Fangfang, she provides them with posts for them to work.
"Before I came here to work, I didn't have any income, and now I come to Fangfang to work here, I am not tired, I have an income of more than 100 miles a day, and I can also take care of my family." It has been seven years since I washed dishes here, and in these seven years, I have washed out a college student and washed my daughter-in-law. The aunt who was washing dishes at the Yellow River Story Restaurant said.
"Hu Fangfang is a rich expert, not only leading the surrounding villagers to embark on the road to prosperity, but also leading the villagers to develop e-commerce together, helping villagers sell apples and pears that are stranded at home, during the epidemic period, she also actively organized friends to send urgently needed materials to the anti-epidemic personnel who stuck to the front line, and the villagers mentioned that she gave her thumbs up and praised, not only because Hu Fangfang pulled everyone to get rich together, but also because she had a benevolent heart to help the poor." Qiang Xinrong, chairman of the Yichuan County Women's Federation, said so.
A flower alone is not spring, thousands of purples and thousands of reds fill the garden in spring. Hu Fangfang uses her hard hands to create her own life value.
