The project just completed by studio Bonarchi's team, located in the heart of Athens, maintaining the basic form of the space as well as the decorative arts of the elements, was a major challenge in this case, and Vangelis Bonios and his team did a lot of research on this.
Striving to create international gardens and residences with a charming palace temperament, this original intention is reflected in every corner, and it is clear from the beginning that demand has recovered. In this exquisite apartment embodies elements of rebirth, and in the end they adopt a truly "masculine" style to achieve the space appeal.
Richly decorated with exquisite silk and velvet fabrics, as well as bespoke furniture with shades of gray, are the owner's favourite brands. Leather, bronze in dark shadows and white marble were carefully selected to highlight the coffee table in the building and the table in the room, occupying a central position, complemented by oak.
Maintaining the basic morphological elements of an Art Deco apartment in the centre of Athens proved to be a challenge for Vangelis Bonios and his team during the in-deapth study of both the interiors and furniture selection for it’s new owner。
With a unique view of the national garden and the glamour of a residence located in the area of the old palaces of Athens reflected in every corner, the demand was obvious right from the start – Revival. A rebirth of the elements of this exquisite apartment and their transfer to the present adopting a truly “masculine” style following the brief of the client, a friend of Studio Bonarchi. A style that emerges through the use of furniture elements with a strict, sharp geometry.

The design inspiration for this case comes from a trip to the Far East, and the design appeal is the object, photo, and memory that the owner of the house often travels with his heart. Based on the Athens Riviera residence overlooking the most beautiful "Zen" beach, the name seems to have determined a specific style and overall plan of the project.

The house is a three-storey residence. On the first floor is mainly the living room dining room as well as the open-air kitchen. Express space through a single hue.

The second floor is designed with a guest room. The slender posture of the low bench is made of stone that dynamically runs through the space although the oak slide board separates the sleeping area. The master bedroom is designed on the top floor and includes the master's bathroom and dressing room. The main idea was to create a glass box-like flushing space. In doing so, the eyes can look unimpeded to the sea.
Rough, realistic material, simple but gives meaning. The space has no visual impairments, allowing the owners to focus on the real necessities: living by the sea, with memories from the past and unobstructed unobstructed sea views.

Kalesma Mykonos
Kalesma, a project completed by K-Studio in collaboration with Studio Bonarchi and located in Mykonos, combines modernism with local traditions to reinvent characteristic hotels belonging to the Mikonians by proposing a laid-back island living experience.
Kalesma is the result of a seamless collaboration between K-Studio and Studio Bonarchi and the owners of the hotel, which combines modernism with local traditions and recreates a hotel that belongs to the Miconians by proposing a relaxed island life experience.
Kalesma is not a hotel in the true sense of the word. It is a village that embraces the pristine beauty of the dry rocks and the deep blue sea, and inspired by the local elements of the simple honest island, we have designed a "village" of white bungalows and villas arranged parametrically, if pixelated landscapes, in the center of the "plateia" or public space. Sitting on the northwestern part of the spine of the island is the only way to enjoy the view of the sunrise in the east, and the sunset in the west. The accommodation is compiled into 25 suites and villas, each with its own private pool terrace and sea views.
K - Studio for dry rock the beauty of the original of the landscape and the deep blue sea, and get inspiration from the island's pristine agrestic breath, we designed a composed of Bai Seping layer and villa "village", the flat layer and villas are parameterized decorate, around a central "platform" (plateia) or public space, as if pixels on the landscape.
The fusion of traditional and contemporary design elements brings Bonarchi's interpretation of the Cycladic style to the extreme. Both the accommodation and the interior of the main space are characterized by the coexistence of pure Myconian sculptural geometry with a sense of modern lines, elements intertwined in an organic way.
