The Red 25th Army is a legendary force that performed miracles in the Long March. This unit is also a star-studded unit, and at the 1955 conferment ceremony, a total of 97 founding generals who were awarded the rank of general were born in the Red 25th Army. The reason why this unit was able to achieve such brilliant achievements was inseparable from the outstanding command of Wu Huanxian, Cheng Zihua, and Xu Haidong, and the bloody struggle of the officers and men of the Red Twenty-fifth Army and the spirit of not being afraid of sacrifice for the revolution also cast the iron-blooded soul of this unit. So, among all the generals of the Red 25th Army, who has the most outstanding military ability? The author believes that it is the following six people.
Sixth place: Chen Xianrui. Chen Xianrui was an old qualifier in the Eyu-Anhui Su District, and was the old squad leader of the founding generals Han Xianchu and Liu Zhen. When the Red Twenty-fifth Army set up a special agent company, Liu Zhen, Han Xianchu, and Chen Xianrui formed a combat group to carry out important tasks arranged by the organization many times, and the squad leader of the trio was Chen Xianrui.

The Red Twenty-fifth Army created the Eyu-Shaanxi Soviet Region during the Long March, which greatly developed the revolutionary forces. However, in the face of the reactionary army's pressing forward step by step, Xu Haidong and Wu Huan first judged the situation and decided to lead their troops to continue to Shaanxi and Gansu in the west, and the task of staying in the Eyu-Shaanxi base area was entrusted to Chen Xianrui.
In the Eyu-Shaanxi base area, Chen Xianrui led his troops to fight the great and mighty style of the people's army, operated in more than 20 counties and towns, and developed the contingent of hundreds of people to more than 2,000 people. Old Jiang hated Chen Xianrui to the bone, and once offered a reward of 10,000 oceans to want him, which showed his influence. In 1955, Chen Xianrui was awarded the rank of lieutenant general.
Fifth place: Liu Zhen. Liu Zhen was only a company-level cadre when he began the Long March with the 25th Army, and he performed well in the Long March, and after the end he was promoted to the position of battalion instructor. After arriving in northern Shaanxi, the Red 25th Army and the Northern Shaanxi Red Army joined forces to form the Red 15th Army, and Liu Zhen performed very well in a series of battles such as receiving the Central Red Army and the subsequent Eastern Crusade, and by the beginning of the War of Resistance, he had been promoted to the position of political commissar of the Red 73rd Division and became a senior commander in our army.
Liu Zhen began to be a military cadre during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and by the time of the Liberation War, he had become a famous general with outstanding military achievements in the Northeast Democratic United Army, and the second column of the Northeast Democratic United Army under Liu Zhen was a well-known ace unit in Dongye, that is, the 39th Army of the Ace Army. In 1955, Liu Zhen was awarded the rank of general.
Fourth place: Cheng Zihua. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Cheng Zihua served as the political commissar of the Jizhong Military Region, the deputy political commissar of the Jin-Cha-Ji Anti-Japanese Base Area, and the acting political commissar of the Acting Commander.
During the Liberation War, Cheng Zihua served as the commander of the Siye Thirteenth Corps, and according to his position and resume, he was qualified to be awarded the rank of general, but Cheng Zihua was no longer in the army when he was awarded the title, so he could not get the title.
Third place: Wu Huanxian. Wu Huanxian was an outstanding general in the Eyu-Anhui Soviet Region, who was not only good at mobilizing the masses and engaging in political work, but also had a good talent in military command. The Long March of the Red 25th Army under his command created the Eyu-Shaanxi base area, smashed the enemy's two heavy encirclement and suppression of the base areas, and played the mighty style of the people's army.
Unfortunately, Wu Huanxian personally commanded the front line in the Battle of Yangquanwa when the Red Twenty-fifth Army went north to northern Shaanxi, and sacrificed heroically, with Wu Huanxian's seniority and ability, if he did not sacrifice, he would show his fists in the future people's army, and the rank of great general would certainly not have any problems.
Second place: Xu Haidong. As the commander and deputy commander of the Red 25th Army and the commander of the Red 15th Army, Xu Haidong made great contributions in the long march of the Red 25th Army. During the Eyu-Anhui Soviet Period, Xu Haidong experienced hundreds of battles with almost no defeat, and was a well-known and victorious general of the Red Fourth Front.
However, the occurrence of two events still affected Xu Haidong's military career. The first was the injury in the Long March. At that time, when Xu Haidong was directing the battle, a criminal bullet entered his eyes and his head was severely damaged, and xu Haidong's energy in commanding the battle was greatly affected from then on. At the beginning of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Xu Haidong's trusted subordinate Zhang Shaodong defected to the enemy, which made Xu Haidong exhausted and went to Yan'an to recuperate under organizational arrangements. After that, he basically did not command a major battle, and he was absent from the entire liberation war. Even so, with the military achievements of the Red Army period, Xu Haidong was enough to be awarded the rank of general.
First: Han Xianchu. Han Xianchu was still young in the Red Twenty-fifth Army, and rarely had the opportunity to stand alone, and at the beginning of the Long March, he was only a company-level cadre. After the end of the Long March, Han Xianchu showed his outstanding military ability, upgraded quickly, and was already a division commander before the War of Resistance.
Han Xianchu's representative work is the third column of the Northeast Democratic Coalition Army commanded by him during the Liberation War, which moved as fast as the wind and destroyed the whirlwind force, and was known as the whirlwind troop, Han Xianchu, also had the reputation of the commander of the whirlwind.
Whirlwind Commander Han Xianchu made a surprise attack on Weiyuan Fort in the War of Liberation, crossed the Qiongzhou Strait, fought a bloody battle on the south bank of the Han River in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and became a member of the people's army that made the enemy feel frightened. In 1955, Han Xianchu was awarded the rank of general.
