On October 27, the district government held a mobilization meeting for pollution control and improvement in the forging industry in Jian'an District. Through on-site observation and technical discussion, more enterprises should pay attention to environmental protection policies, establish the main responsibility of corporate governance, and take the sustainable road of green development. Deputy District Governor Xu Bing attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
At the meeting, the participants watched the propaganda film on pollution control and improvement of the forging industry, explained the background of the improvement of the governance of the forging industry and interpreted the "Pollution Control improvement plan of the forging industry in Jian'an District"; the person in charge of the forging enterprise made a typical speech.
Xu Bing demanded that we should clearly understand the situation, enhance our understanding, and effectively enhance the consciousness and initiative of pollution control in the forging industry, and at the same time enhance our sense of responsibility and mission, improve our ideological understanding, shoulder the main responsibility, and ensure that the pollution control and improvement work of the forging industry is in place. It is necessary to make overall plans, do a good job in the improvement and transformation of pollution control in the forging industry as soon as possible, continuously improve the level of pollution control, and upgrade the transformation and upgrading of high-standard emission reduction. We must dare to take responsibility, actively act, and effectively enhance the joint force of pollution control and transformation in the forging industry. The forging industry should take an active role, plan in advance, and complete the task of upgrading and rectification on time. All relevant units, townships (streets) and parks should conscientiously perform their duties, provide good services for the industry, and take the initiative. It is necessary to strengthen law enforcement inspections and intensify law enforcement. Organize professionals to do a good job in technical guidance and policy answers to the forging industry, and rectify in place in accordance with the requirements of the program, and further make due contributions to the improvement of ambient air quality in Jian'an District through the transformation and upgrading of pollution control in the forging industry.
Before the meeting, 14 leaders of the forging industry went to Xuchang Xiangsheng Forging Co., Ltd. and Xuchang Wanlin Machinery Processing Factory for on-site observation.
