CAE 2021, has initially become one of the most influential aquatic products industry chain exhibitions in China, the scale of the exhibition reached 30,000 square meters, more than 400 excellent enterprises in all aspects of the industrial chain, focusing on the display of feed, seedlings, equipment, animal protection, inputs, aquatic products processing and other aspects of the industrial chain of innovative products, pragmatic solutions. Different from previous editions, this exhibition has specially increased the display of brand aquatic products, and launched the commercial docking and exchange of farmed aquatic products such as shrimp, river crab, crayfish, California perch and the catering industry.
In the three-day period, the 2021 Jiangsu Aquaculture High-quality Development Summit, the 4th China Aquatic Inputs Annual Conference, the 4th China Industrial Aquaculture Summit Forum, the 2021 China Aquatic Products Buyers Conference, the 2nd China California Perch Farming Experts Annual Conference, the 2021 China Aquaculture Tailwater Comprehensive Treatment Technology Seminar, the 2nd Potassium Persulfate Industry Summit Forum, Yuan Sheng's 2021 Annual Offline Course and China Good Fishery Doctor Training Conference, the Second Council of the 4th Session of the Jiangsu Fisheries Association, There have been more than ten forums and activities such as the Council of the Aquatic Inputs Branch of the China Fisheries Association. China Aquatic Frontier Exhibition has become an annual platform for the domestic aquaculture industry to gather ideas and solutions.
During the opening ceremony of CAE 2021, the 2021 Jiangsu Aquaculture High-quality Development Summit hosted by Jiangsu Fishery Technology Extension Center, Jiangsu Fisheries Association, Jiangsu Fisheries Society, Jiangsu Provincial Seaweed Association, Jiangsu Recreational Fishing Association, and hosted by Aquatic Frontier was held to showcase Jiangsu's exquisite and beautiful characteristic aquaculture industry and explore new solutions in the process of expanding new fishery formats.
Zhang Zhaohui said in his speech that fishery is an important industry for agriculture and national economy in Jiangsu Province, which is of great significance to improving people's livelihood and promoting rural revitalization. In May 2020, the General Office of the Provincial Government issued the Opinions on Accelerating the High-quality Development of Fisheries, which clearly put forward the goals, tasks and key measures such as optimizing and improving the spatial layout of fisheries, accelerating the transformation of fishery production methods, continuously consolidating industrial development capabilities, and focusing on improving the level of organizational support. This year, the provincial party committee, the provincial government No. 1 document will be aquatic green and healthy breeding technology promotion "five major actions" as the provincial government's annual key assessment goals, each year to arrange provincial financial support funds of more than 100 million yuan, and increase the cultivation of market entities, the province has registered more than 50,000 aquaculture production entities, has built a national level aquatic healthy aquaculture demonstration farm 495, healthy breeding demonstration county 8, accounting for 8.2%, 13.1% of the national total, respectively.
While we have made a number of achievements in promoting the transition from traditional subsistence fisheries to modern ecological fisheries. However, the development of fisheries in the province is also facing many shortcomings and weaknesses such as resource and environmental pressures, compression of production space, infrastructure investment, and insufficient integration of industrial development, and it is urgent to adjust and optimize the policy design, spatial layout, industrial structure, and model path of fishery development to meet the requirements of high-quality development in the new era.
