According to reporter Pete O'Rourke, andy Carroll, a striker who has played for Newcastle and Liverpool, is negotiating with Reading on a free transfer.
Carroll, 32, is a tall striker who has played for Newcastle, Liverpool, West Ham and was a member of the England national team.
