China Quality News Network News Recently, the Ziyang Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Sichuan Province issued a food safety supervision and sampling information announcement (No. 11 [2021]). According to the announcement, the Ziyang Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau recently organized sampling inspections of 11 types of food, such as convenience food, starch and starch products, alcohol, grain processing products, sugar, catering food, vegetable products, fruit products, potatoes and puffed foods, condiments, edible oils, oils and fats and their products, totaling 49 batches. Among them, 44 batches of qualified samples and 5 batches of unqualified samples were sampled and the main problems found were: the residual amount of sulfur dioxide and the total arsenic of vegetable products exceeded the standard; the coliform bacteria in catering utensils exceeded the standard.
For the unqualified products found in the above-mentioned supervision and sampling inspection, the market supervision department of the place where the business unit is located has carried out verification and disposal in accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Measures for the Administration of Food Safety Sampling Inspection, thoroughly investigated the causes of the problems and carried out rectification, and dealt with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with the law.
