Before the party, visit the class teacher, Teacher Huang Shuqing (in Teacher Huang's shimonoseki home)

Alma mater Dali No. 1 Middle School has a reunion of alumni who have graduated and left the school every year. However, classes that only return to school for the first time after 50 years are indeed rare.

After graduating from the school in July 1965, 50 students from the 50th class of high school graduated and left the school, and a group of young men and women who were flourishing since then were scattered inside and outside the province to work for the future of their careers and for their children and grandchildren. During this period, the students gathered less and left more, and never organized to return to their alma mater in the name of the class.

My fate with this class is that the 49th and 50th classes of high school were the last grades to take the college entrance examination before the Cultural Revolution in 1966. Two classes of classrooms run from west to east on the second floor of the south of the middle compound of the school headquarters. The 77th class I was in was in the third grade, on the second floor of the north directly opposite the courtyard. Although there was no direct contact, in the days before leaving school, some of the memories of the big brother class are still fresh in my memory.

I remember that the school organized broadcast gymnastics competitions, and now the senior high school students are still young children in the eyes of adults, but at that time, in my eyes, they were already "adults". The big brother class team is neat, the pace is healthy, and each one is full of youth and vitality.

There is an unknown student sister, I don't know whether it is a 49 or 50 class, not very tall, but it is the center of the women's basketball team, and the dribbling action and alert eyes impress me deeply.

Basketball at today's alma mater is still so hot

Another girl, whose voice in Russian every morning overwhelmed everyone, saw her again in her later years at the kunming alumni association of Dali No. 1 Middle School, and I could recognize her appearance. Her name is Yang Defen, and she teaches foreign languages at Yunnan Nationalities University.

I remember most when their college entrance examination admission notice was issued, some people were admitted to prestigious universities and were admitted to Tsinghua University and Beijing Railway College, and many people unexpectedly failed. Vice President Duan Ruhai was the secretary of the Youth League Committee at the time, and he had just returned from Beijing to attend the Ninth National Congress of the Communist Youth League. I saw him talking to the big brothers at the stone table under the Luohan Pine in front of the library, which was both encouraging and comforting. Looking down at the silent students, I didn't know what it meant to these parties. A year later, when the students in our class, including the class leader, who had good academic performance and high family composition, all lost the opportunity to go up, I seemed to understand the encounters and moods of those who had fallen behind.

Half a century has passed, and the past is hard to look back. Among the classmates who lived together day and night, some participated in the personal appraisal that determined the fate and future of others. To this day, some people have difficulty resolving this unforgettable entanglement, but no one is willing to expose this old wound again.

I think, if the alma mater is a camp of iron,

Teachers and students who come to their alma mater are like rolling water, wave after wave. They are all rare people, and some things are still better to put down. Step out of the shadows and face the future.

A few years ago, I became the vice president of the alumni association of my alma mater in Kunming, an old school with a history of more than 130 years, and every year I met in Kunming, and the participants ranged from white hair and faltering to full of vitality. Chen Wenjun and I are responsible for contacting Kunming alumni from the 92nd class to the 49th class of the high school. Yang Manyun is the convener of the 50th class of Kunming alumni, and he is familiar with it.

Xiao Renjie's eldest brother was in the 50th class of high school, and his younger sister later became my lover, and the situation in their class gradually knew something. At the end of last month, I was in Fengqing, and I learned from my wife that Brother Renjie and Zhao Yuyi came to Dali from Baoshan to attend the back-to-school party of the 50th class of high school from December 1 to 2, and the eldest brother invited me to participate on the phone.

I immediately sent a message in the "Dali Yizhong WeChat Group":

The 50th anniversary of the graduation of the 50th class of the alma mater will meet in Dali on December 1-2.

Half a century of parting reunions is truly worth cherishing.

I wish the seniors and sisters a happy and healthy life!

Due to the alma mater complex and the relationship with Yang Manyun and other students, I ended the collection early, and on November 30, I transferred from Fengqing Gumo, 300 kilometers away, to Return to Shimonoseki for 10 hours. On the way, he had a phone call with Yang Manyun and asked about the schedule of the party. It was learned that the back-to-school gathering was organized by Xiong Xun and Dong Guozheng, who had been the class presidents. I dialed the phone and informed Yan Xuehou, the senior of the 49th class who ran "HouLu" in Xizhou.

I plan to participate in their return to their alma mater.

Brother Renjie agreed with me early in the morning to wait for him to call to inform me of the time to go to my alma mater. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, he did not remember to call until he entered his alma mater, and I hurried to catch the no. 4 bus to arrive, they had already finished the discussion, and were visiting from the South Flower Hall, cleaning up the venue and preparing for a group photo.

It was really touching to see these déjà vu elders: they were three or four years older than me, and they were all gray-haired and faltering people.

Any teacher in the school was younger than they were in front of them! Many of the old teachers of that year have left us one after another in recent years, and these "old students" have left the school for 50 years before they return to school for the first time, tracing the footprints of that year, and the sound of reading seems to ring in their ears...

I wasted no time in snapping some photos of the scene and taking a group photo for them.

Immediately rushed to the home of alumni Ma Yu to ask him to repair, through WeChat did not wait for the gathering senior car to xizhou, and then used WeChat to send the group photo to Renjie's big brother mobile phone.

I remember when I took the photo, Yang Baoheng stood by the yongdao and chatted with his classmates, saying that one of the classmates was a leader of a considerable level in the state, and still liked the young classmates to call his milk name. The other students immediately interrupted him and said that they were all so old and said this.

I also met yang Jinhua, the current principal of my alma mater, for the first time (the author in the picture below)

Afterwards, it was learned that the 49th class Yan Xuehou teacher warmly invited the 50th class to visit his Houlu and drink "three teas".

Everyone was both sincerely happy about Yan Xuehou's success and immersed in a joyful gathering. When Yang Jianguo and others saw the old photos of Yan Xuehou and the cadres of the student union of his alma mater that year, they could not help but recall unforgettable memories...

Dali No. 1 Middle School in Yunnan Province was formerly known as "Xiyun Academy". On October 15, 1877 (the third year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty), Yang Yuke, the viceroy of Yunnan, was transferred to the local government of Dali, donating his official residence, field products and other industries to run the school, and the public academies shared by the "Five Provinces" (Dali, Chuxiong, Yongchang (present-day Baoshan), Lijiang, Shunning (present-day Lincang), and the "Three Halls" (Menghua (present-day Weishan), Jingdong, and Yongsheng) were never run. In 1902, the new school was established, in 1911 it was designated as the "Provincial No. 2 Middle School", and in 1932 it was named "Yunnan Provincial Dali Middle School" by the provincial government, known as the "Highest School in Western Yunnan".

After the founding of New China, the people's government merged five secondary schools in Dali (provincial middle school, national teacher, girls' middle school, county middle school, and Zhongzheng middle school) to form "Dali People's Middle School". In 1953, it was named "Dali No. 1 Middle School in Yunnan Province", and the name of the school is still used today.
