Commentary on "Rong Zhai Essay of Zhaozong Xiang Zhu Pu"

Tang Zhaozong credulously believed the words of the villains around him and the taoist priests, and appointed Zhu Pu, who was exaggerated but had no political experience, as prime minister. This is the same as Tang Wenzong reusing Wang Shuwen and the Guangxu Emperor reusing Kang Youwei, both of whom were Zhao Kuo's generation on paper. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the feudal towns were divided, and the imperial court took care of itself, and appointing Zhu Pu as the minister was tantamount to self-destruction of the Great Wall.
